I missed this, but you need to have the gameshark in the main menu mode (like just after it's botted) before you can connect it to a compy. dunno if you missed that, but it took me a whiel to figure that simple little thign out

You're sure the port doesn't work? You need to use a 4 foot cable or it'll time out, and you need some special driver to use the software on NT systems.

I'm sure it could be fixed, but it sounds like a hardware problem so it would probably need to be opened both to diagnose the problem and to fix it. It would probably be easier just to get a new one.

The parallel port on the back doesn't work, nor does the LED light, and deleting a game from my code list corrupted the list, and now the GS freezes when I enter the cheat menu.
