Sprites can be very sensitive. Make sure you aren't trying to load too many on to a screen at the same time. |

Try Sprite Header 0E. It's the best for mostly everything from what I've seen. |

Okay... try spacing out the sprites a little more. |

All I can tell you is... try to take the Ball 'n' Chain out. If I remember correctly, your problem is the problem you get when you put Ball 'n' Chain in the same level as certain other sprites. |

I'm having problems with some of my sprites in my first castle. Every so often, the sprites will have some of their 8x8 tiles disappear. For example, some Fireballs (or Podoboos, if you prefer) will lose their top-right 8x8 tiles when going up, but lose the whole top half of their 16x16 tiles when going down. I can't fix it. None of the Sprite Header Settings mention the sprites I'm using. For reference, here's the sprites I'm using, in order of appearance in the Castle:
9E: Ball 'n' Chain 30: Dry Bones 31: Bony Beetle BB: Moving Castle Block Platform (perfectly fine) 62: Brown Line-Guided Platform 33: Vertical Fireball (yes, I have Sprite buoyancy enabled) 26: Thwomp Also in level, but obviously has no effect on other sprites: E6: Background Candle Flames ...Any ideas on what Sprite Header setting will work best here? I'm tired of taking out sprites just to make them all look right. |
