Anyone surprised to see a guy dressed as a female character hasn't been to enough animé conventions.

As for the story... *clicks "no" on about 47 cookie set prompts and Adblocks maybe 12 different hosts* pfft. My train of thought seeing them would have gone something like this: "wtf, are they naked? Oh, no, they're not. Awesome costumes though." Anyone who would, beyond the first glance, continue to actually think these people are naked needs their eyes checked.

Also, Captain Underpants is the only real superhero.

...you have got to be kidding me. Are you serious? If so, I just hope those guys are gay...otherwise, my faith in humanity has taken yet another hit. Goddamned flamboyant sons of whores.
Apparently they've been crossdressing for this every year for at least since last year. Just for the shock value. They weren't the only group doing it this year, either... You don't want to... Hear about the other one.

On a lighter note, A minor associate of mine went as bloodninja. Hilarity ensued in that sketch.

As some of you likely already know, I went as Phoenix Wright again out of not being able to decorate my sword properly in time to go as Stylish Alastor. However several (male) students went as the Disney Princesses.

It's as scarring as it sounds. There's a DVD of everyone's performances available. If you really want to see, fly over and buy it. I sure as hell didn't take any pictures of them.

Weird choice of costume.
Also, hay let's ban activities that let our children grow stronger.

I'm not sure it's the kids as much as it is the parents...

Another Willett parent, Celeste D'Elia, said her son feels safer because of the rule. "I've witnessed enough near collisions," she said.
I wouldn't take a parent's word on how their kid feels, since kids often say what their parents want to hear for whatever reason, and she said she witnessed enough "near collisions"?

God damn, people. I was the class nerd for many years and I didn't even bitch about dodgeball - I just made sure to get damn good at it. Well, the dodging, never got the throwing down particularly well. My mother never complained, and my stepfather would've probably yelled at me if I complained.

Sorry, slightly offtopic complaining.

Crap like that banning only happen because people who didn't get picked for those games pass the law. Simple as that. "I suffered so everyone else should suffer too" kind of thinking pisses me off.

That is the single most reactionary thing I've seen. I me--wait, what? Oh. Second most reactionary thing.

That being said, we were fucking pussies compared to our parents.

I heard about this in my local paper today

And I think that the teachers overreacted. Captain Underpants is a GUY, it was 3 GIRLS dressing up as him. Guys don't have BOOBS, so what's the big deal?

It's a tradition to wear costumes when you go to school near Halloween. But some people dress up as things that are somewhat questionable.

Well, in one school, it wasn't Halloween or a day promoting Halloween on the day this incident occured. It was superhero day. A day where you come to school dressed up as a superhero. There was a wide variety of costumes worn. But one getup in particular stood out from the rest. Now, three students got the idea to dress up as Captain Underpants of children's book fame. They went to school, clad in red capes and underpants. And nothing more.

Now here's the bizarre part: these were FEMALE students. Yes, female students. Dressed like Captain Underpants. Now before you get any ideas, their breasts were not exposed. I sort of lied when I said they wore nothing more - the entire costume came with a suit that covered the body, covering up any private parts and such. It wasn't transparent, but it looked so much like bare skin that it caused a fuss.

Go here for the full details and new story. The image included might be considered slightly NWS, but it's nothing too bad.

This reminds me of this video, which is hilarious.

That would be pretty interesting. No one dressed up at my high school really. I went to an interesting high school. We had a chess team but no football team. It was wonderful.

That'd get a from me if I saw it here. We don't have such costume days here and I won't be dressing up for halloween or anything like that.

But I'd probably dress up as:

Ghost Rider.

I don't see anything wrong with what they have on. They're wearing more than just underwear and a cape, you've got to include the top piece.

I told the guys that they can dress up for Halloween, but it can't be offensive or anything like that.

...I saw this cute Rainbow Brite costume that I wanted to buy....buuut, I can't wear it at work....hmmm, but now that I think of it, a friend of mine is having a hotel Halloween party on Saturday....I could wear it there....hmmm....

Lots of kids dressed up at my high school but nothing over the top. Sure, the french maid outfits were out in force thanks to the Grade 11's, but other than that...

We had a similar problem at my high school a few years back... now we have a rule of "appropriate attire" that everyone must follow, lest you want saturday school and whatnot. But the kids here were less creative... they came to school as "swimmers" wearing nothing but a speedo, or as "whores" (for the girls) dressed very scantily. Such a lame way to attention whore yourself.

I would dress up as Lex Luthor from Earth 3 but I would need a goatee:
