Well you're thinking about the game if you post in The Game thread so yes, you lose too.

>< >I didn't think about it...< >< >I just...< >< >I imagined it < Well, Uli, you posted in this thread, so you must think of it. You lost! Oh, i posted here too. I lost too, right? |

In the variant I know, you can't lose within 15 minutes of an external reason reminding you of the game (like this topic).
i.e. if you remember about that game on the bus spontaneously or whatever, next thing you do is going to the thread and posting that you lost. It was a fad at this year's Ilmenau maths specialist summer camp. I remember a maths class where people were driving the (unknowing) tutor insane by throwing in exclamations like "Oh, I just lost." in the most improbable moments.^ |

Kinda like the Stay-Puft marshmallow man scene from the first ghostbusters then?
Cause I saw it too. |

"The Game has no set rule defining a "winning" player, but participants can measure their performance by comparing how often they lose relative to their opponents. Thus, strategy in these games consists of attempts to make one's opponents lose while minimizing one's personal losses."
I understood that as "You cannot win unless you forget about the game", but then you'd never realize you've won unless you lose by realizing it. So, I can't consider it a game because there aren't winners. Can I say "It's not a game, it's a toy" like in the other thread? Edit: @Alastor the Stylish: :'( |

But you would lose the game anytime you told someone since you'd have to think about what the rules were, thus thinking about The Game making it a self started paradox. |

Ugh... I've played that. It's weird. I try to stick to more sensible things like Mao and speaking Food Tongue.

The Game: to remember you are playing the game means to lose the game.
In short, the only way to win is to forget you're playing the game and never remember it. Though I don't play the game. |

*blink*
It must really be "an anti-memory game" since I don't even know what it is without reading the article. |

I lose... Maybe, I'm not sure if it counts...
I started this at my school for a while, and quite a few people confessed that they thought about it by just seeing me. Counting how many people I told about it though... I lost quite a bit. |

If you honestly can't figure out what's going on and honestly want to know, the wikipedia article should clear things up for you. |

This is all going over my head. *_*
I'm just going to assume that at least more than one of you knows what's going on. |

Rule three can be broken. It's really more of a guideline then a rule.
And fuck, you made me lose again. |
