"We completed our mission anyway sweetie."
"What!? What do you mena that asshole loser isn't here!" Lemon shouted at her brother, as the two Navis vanished into data back into cards. "Well, of course I do..." o o o The radio was left behind, and Zero would clearly hear their dialouge. "Listen sweetheart... if this world's Zero is a coward and doesn't like to fight against us, then he is nothing." "But.... Kato dear..." "If Zero doesn't want ot fight, I clearly understand that he's a total wuss. If he was supposed to be the grand hero, then he should of faced us until we we're deleted, but he didn't. I doubt Shadow wants his fighting data anyway." Then the radio short-ciruited. OOC: If you insist... If Zero got offended, it was too late; Slayers Kato and Lemon had already returned back home. And there was nothing that can be done to reverse the discision. o o o "Hmm, you kids... I've seen the whole thing. Zero wasn't a coward when he was facing off against the Sonance Army last time. Well, I guess we can call this mission a success. If Zero clearly wanted to run away, then fine." The two kids nodded and ran off to their rooms, and Shadow collasped onto his chair and sighed. "I can't believe it. That's what makes him different from our Zero. Zero.EXE would never retreat unless it was for a very good reason... the reploid ran off all because he couldn't defeat his opponents. The wimp. "Hmm... I wonder what Banshii is up to. She hasn't returned to base yet..." |

To their surprise, neither Zero nor Morpheus were there... for Morpheus wasn't there just to pull Zero out of this mess - instead, he had set up a failsafe in case they tried something like that...
They were in Area Zero, true, but the data of the previous minutes had been destroyed. Their mission, essentially, was a failure. |

"Area Steal Card!" Lemon held up a card, and it glowed brightly before she, Kato, Zero, CircusMan, and DesertMan all color inverted and were whisked away from the desert, out from the hands of Morph's help of his friend.
o o o Sometime later, Zero appeared and got deposited in the lake around the forest areas near Area Zero. CircusMan, DesertMan, Kato, and Lemon also appear, but on the ground outside the lake. "Well... we have no use for DesertMan," Kato pulled out another card, as DesertMan exploded into data, "DiveMan! Appear!" In the lake somewhere, formed a blue submarine Navi with a smoke pipe. "De~aru..." |

A barrier of sand surrounded Zero before DesertMan appeared, forming some sort of coffin around him... but the sand was incredibly clear.
"Seems like I have no choice..." A quiet, squeaking voice crackled, as a racoon-shaped thing jumped off the sands, hopping onto the coffin. Sand was pouring from every edge of his body, and his face was empty, devoid of eyes, tongue, nose, or teeth. "Royal! Desert Funeral..." he muttered, before a large sandwave flew from far behind him, using his sand... and went straight towards them, not letting them continue their moves. The Sandstone was grabbed by Morpheus, appearing from the ground, who, despite seeming to be straining underneath it, managed to throw it away in time. "Well, now... I suppose you kids are not as smart as I had presumed. Quite an overestimation... this should be corrected," he said, calmly, even as he watched them. "Do you think you can deal with them, Zero?" "Yes... just keep those walls up. Might be easier to avoid... can you destroy those things they'll summon, then?" the crimson Reploid replied, and Morpheus nodded. "Onebi, draw in your sand." The racoon dived onto the ground, turning back into the gourd, and began absorbing a certain type of sand... sand this that might absorb in DesertMan as well. |

OOC: I appologize for what's about to happen...
"Bastard reploid!" Lemon cursed at him, as she held out.... a card? "DesertMan, I summon you!" She threw the card forward and the ball of light shot into the ground. Then the sand burst up and snatched Zero in mid-air, as a daunting old man like laugh echoed out. The sand formed up and it transformed into DesertMan. "Gaw gaw gaw gaw... I'll crush you. Sandstone!" Up above Zero, sands forme dotgether into a hardened stome lime material, before DesertMan's large sandy hand let go and it immediatly fell down. "I wouldn't bother cutting it, your weapon won't penatrate its metallic consistity," Kato explained, as he too pulled out a card, and threw it. "CircusMan! Come forth and tame this reploid!" The card transformed into a fat four handed clown, who looks to be the cause of nightmares in young children in the late 19XX. "Now to make sure you don't have any friends helping you." She pulled out another card, as it started to glow in a weird aura. Then it epxloded outward as the area around five miles became multicolored, as hectagonal shaped energy plates formed around into a dome like area, cutting out anybody else from helping OR forming into the sand inside the D-Area, including Morph if he was helping Zero from the side lines. A Dimensional Area Card. Anything can happen here now, but destroying it would be next to impossible. "Hee... we can finally test out these cards of ours." "Yeah Lemon." CircusMan laughed gleefully, as he held out what looked like a long taming whip. "Beast Tamer!" He snapped the whip at the ground and a flaming hope suddenly appeared in a snap, and out came a mechanical tiger to pouce on Zero if he escaped the sandblock or not. OOC2: This is DesertMan, and this is CircusMan. |

*BEEP* "NEGLECTED!"
A loud, robotical voice rang in their ears, as the gray sphere was absorbed by the sand, instead of exploding. Instead, a large sandstorm rose, being even worse now... Even though their bodies were not having the sand stick to them, they were still getting slowed down... but, now that they noticed, this sand actually smelled, instead of not having any quality at all... in fact... it was like the smell actually disturbed their senses, making them drowsy. Zero dashed back and forth, avoiding the kunai, all the while trying to get closer to them. (OoC: Field Change deactivated. It is permanently a desert field.) |

"We need to destroy this sand Kato."
"Yeah." Kato pulled out what looks like a gray sphere, and throws it towards the ground. It strikes the ground with such force, it explodes and a lake of magma pours out, covering a seven mile radius of sand. If it was caught it still explodes and creates this large magma lake. Either way, there's nothing Zero cna do to prevent this field change. Now because of the sand on them, they were not hindered down, in fact the sand never stuck to them becaus eof their specialized clothes. NOTHING cannot stick to them i.e. water droplets, sand dust, dirt, ect. "Too bad Zero," Kato taunted as he and his sister flew higher clear out of range of the Z-Saber. "Dragon virus!" Appearing in several waves of data came what looked like serpent like dragons forming out from the lava, before they unleashed waves of fireballs at the Red Raider. Lemon unleashed a storm of Heartbreak Kunai, and Kato pulled out what looked like the Gunblade from one of those Final Fantasy games, with the metal blade replaced with a Cyber Sword. |

Zero's armor seemed to shift into a green color, while he dashed towards one of the (somehow still remaining) sand walls, running up it. Meanwhile, the scattered sand was forming some sort of odd fog around them, sticking to their bodies...
The mine collided with the wall, and Zero tsk'ed, before hopping down to the ground again. "Still... that won't equal a victory for any of you two." If they tried to move now, they'd notice their movement was slightly less than before... |

They were fast. Faster than QuickMan.EXE, Zoanoroid QuickMan.EXE, or Faltzer of Beyondard. Not even sandwalls could contain them, they were too speedy, and that combined with flight can't stop them.
"Take this! Collission Wind!" Lemon and Kato held each other's arms as they spoun around and created a giant tornado of wind, before teh wind disburst and a storm of grenades and heart kunais were raining down all around Zero. Kato pulled out what looked like a gray metallic discus (Mine) and flung it liek a shuriken aimed to smash right into Zero's face. "We have always planned out before we go into battle, Zero... otherwise Master Shadow wouldn't of sent us to our deaths in the first place." |

"Oh really?" he asked, backflipping over the shots, as some sort of sand walls surrounded the group. "I didn't defeat so many Mavericks by just standing still..." he snapped back, trying to lead them with his own Buster before firing... but it wasn't too easy. |

Before he knew it, the twins had clearly sped out of his attacks, as the kunais were flung from behind Zero. It didnt' really hit him, but rather, slashed off a rather big chunk of his hair.
"And you think we haven't know of that? You are much different from Zero.EXE," Kato said with a disapointed voice. "You'll learn that even you have your limits, Zero," She teased, "Heartbreak Kunai!" "Crystal Grenade!" He flung crystal made grenades forward, while more hearts were flung forward faster than Phantom could release a wave of kunai. The twins are much better than Zero can predict. |

A shot rang out, as Zero seemed to have fired at the hearts, a blast aimed at her kunais. "As I thought... it seems the two of you are Mavericks. I suppose I shall have to defeat you two and stop you from leaving..."
Then, he seemed to be grimacing. "And if you think that, because you are human, that makes a difference... then shove it. You two gave up any humanity you had when you joined him... now... I see nothing but two carcasses that will be defeated." Then, he dashed towards them. "Now defend yourselves!" (OoC: ...well... I sure hope you've got a backup plan, because these guys are likely to leave dead.) |

Wow, he's meaner than our Zero...
"What for? We wanted to meet you Mr. Zero... I'm Slayer Kato." "And I'm Slayer Lemon." "We're two members of the Eight Einharjar of the cyber world," they both annouced to the reploid. "We we're requested by Master Shadow that we find you, challenge you to a gruelling battle, then retreat back home," Lemon said with a sweet evil tone of voice. The smile on Kato instantly vanished, replaced with a smirk, very similar to Fefnir. "You Zero, are to be defeated by our team work..." "And, here a riddle for the so called hero: Can a reploid battle against two opponents who are human?" She formed pink shaped heart kunai in her hands. |

"What do you two want?" Zero asked, as he turned around, Z-Saber flaring to life. Apparently, he wasn't so surprised as they thought...
"You'd better have a good reason for coming here... and it better be something completely unrelated to any 'recruitment', 'data gathering', or other objectives. I don't have time to deal with you." |

There he is... the reploid that Shadow wanted us to challenge... Kato held his girlfriend close, and cleared his throat to alert Zeor that they had appeared.
Need to keep our acts up before we drop a bombshell on this poor excuse of a reploid. Lemon mentally smiled. |

After a walk under a thankfully not-as-hot sun, they managed to come across Zero... currently standing with his back towards them.
It seemed that, whatever he was doing, it didn't alert him to their position. |

OOC: Mega viruses. But they are also fully fledged humans. So basically they're human.
"But-" Too late, Morph vanished, "He's just going to leave us here!?" 
"Uhm..." Then the radar comes in, as he picks it up, "Dunno..." "Let's just go... I gathered some water in our canister's." "Alright sis." The two then slowly headed off towards the direction, both holding hands. |

"..." Morpheus stared at them, then seemed to... sigh?
"It seems my orders have changed... you two, stay here. There is someone to be pursued." Saying this, he began to sink into the sand, before disappearing, and leaving the two of them alone. After a few minutes, they'd notice a loud beep, and would see a radar in the sand ahead. It seemed to be a tracker of sorts... (OoC: Um... what ARE they, again? Humans, Reploids, Navis, or what?) |

OOC: I would like to have them fight against the Red Raider, plot related for an upcoming event.
Kato just gave him a glare. Not a mean glare, but just a simple glare. "Look sir, are you going to help us find Mr. Zero or not?" Lemon-chan was still standing close to her boyfriend/sibling. Lemon spoke up, adjusting her large looking red cap. "We heard that the real X is still here, but only existing as a rare Cyber-Elf, and that the real Zero was nothing but a copy, and the real body of the Red Raider was under control of this Omega reploid... "Please just tell us where you last known or seen Mr. Zero and we'll find him ourselves." "Lemon, you sure you want to?" Kato asked her. "Yes dear... I am sure of it." |
