You can't use Lunar Magic to remap the sprites and change their appearance in-game, but you can certainly change the way they appear in the editor itself.
Old topic, and I still have no idea why Tweaker wouldn't change Monty Mole's palette for Nintendude, since I've personally changed Monty Mole's palette with no problem. |

I have changed other enemies' palletes and viewed them in the game and their palletes were changed but when I changed Monty Mole's pallete and viewed it in the game, nothing was changed, I think I'm doing something wrong. |

Monty Mole's palette should be changed in-game. If you want to change how enemies appear in Lunar Magic open the 16x16 Editor and hit ctrl + shift + page down to open Sprite Map16 editing. Scroll down with the arrow keys until you see sprite graphics. You can change them like any other map16 pages and save your changes with ctrl + F9. |

.....I'm fairly sure that your changes won't be seen in the editor. Open your hack in an emulator and see if it looks right there. |

I used Tweaker to change the palletes of some enemies, I'm trying to change the monty mole red (I've changed it to another enemy) when I boot up my SMW hack by Lunar Magic and see if the enemy pallete has changed, the enemy still stays as the orignal pallete it has. Is it because some enemies can't have their palletes changed?
Edit:I didn't know if this should have belonged in SMW hacking or this section. |
