Posts: 525/-7750		 I just wanted to mention that I think Big Daddy should be tweaked so he can choose if he uses another Mafia member as shield or not. Because I noticed in last game, that once BD is discovered, the Mafia is basically lost as the members will keep voting to kill BD and all other Mafia Members won't need to be discovered as they will be used by BD as shields.

Or something...

I can agree with that, I'm sorry Kattwah. I really didn't see your thread... considering that intrest was lost, why not start a new game?

You know, I might want to mention how silly I think that "don't copy someone else's game" rule is. It is needed, I can agree with that. But there is no discrimination between a game that died a week ago, one still going strong and one that has been dead for seven months. There is no discrimination between whether the topic creator abandoned it or interest was lost. Which can cause problems. Sometimes, games just die and don't get revived, as is the case here. There needs to be some sort of "timeout period" as to when it is okay for a new version of a same game to be started by a different person. Of course, there should be limitations. If a game has been dead for a certain amount of time but the "timeout period" HAS passed, you'd need the approval of the original creator first. If it exceeds that second timespan, you can create it without the topic creator's approval. For instance, a game could be considered "timed out" after one month, but you'd have to wait three months for you to be able to start it up again without the original topic creator's consent. Just example time periods, of course.

I'm really sorry about this. I actually did scan through to look if anyone else had made a thread. Is Kattwah's thread called mafia or is it named something else?

Posts: 310/596		 I always loved the game mafia and now I've thought of a way to play it here. For those of you who don't know how to play it, here are the rules.

The main people:
Narrarator (me)
a doctor
2 mobsters
And the rest are towns people.

The Narrorator begins by choosing the Mafia, Doctor. (secretly meaning via PM) When they are chosen the game may begin. The narrorator tells the towns people to go to sleep and the mafia to wake up and make a hit. The mafia I have chosen will then PM each other to until they can decide on which towns person to put a hit on and the PM me who they want to kill. I will then PM the Doctor and ask who they think is going to be killed. If the doctor guesses wrong, then the person is eliminated from the game.

I then wake up the towns people and tell them who was killed that night. The towns people (this includes all other players) then vote on whether that person is innocent or guilty If they choose wrong, an innocent player is eliminated. This continues until all the towns people are eliminated or the mafia are killed.

This place should have the rules layed out a bit better but I will not use vigilantes and masons. http://www.misetings.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12293
