I don't wanna open new threads so tell me why is this topic about?
What I can learn here? What is the difernce between the ExGFX and GFX objects? |

Maybe I should mention that I downloaded these ExGFX from SMWCentral. They are the Metroid Fusion Sector 5 ARC ExGFX.
I'd have thought that they would be fine because otherwise they wouldn't be up for distribution. I must be doing something wrong on my end. |

uhm.
You open the Super GFX Bypass window and select which ExGFX file you want to load in which slot(s). If you ended up with a garbled mess, you either: a) did not insert the ExGFX files properly b) selected the wrong ExGFX files in the Super GFX Bypass c) have a garbled mess for an ExGFX file d) didn't make the tiles in the ExGFX file line up with what they're supposed to be replacing If a-c are okay, then you need to check your map16 page. You may have to remake all the tiles / reorganise the ExGFX file |

How do I add them? I've already extracted all the GFX and ExGFX and reinserted them as 4bpps. I also created the ExGraphics folder in my hacks directory and put the files in it. Now, I know I have to add them by using the Super GFX Bypass but how exactly does that work? I looked over the readme and tried myself but all I got was a garbled mess. Wisely, I didn't save it. Any help for me? |
