I like Kedit, but it doesn't have tabs. I think I'm going to have to go with gedit. Gvim is annoying. I've heard bad things about emacs, and kate is too cluttered. I'll try that bluefish one I guess.

EDIT: Bluefish is wayyy too much. And besides: I have Quanta for web developement.

I always use gedit, and have tried bluefish a little and it was okay.

I'm kind of sick of beaver. It doesn't do the traditional CTRL-F to find things and that's been pissing me off. Does anyone know of anything better? I'm not looking for a word processor. I have OpenOffice for that. I'm looking for something that pops up instantly when I want to quickly edit something.
