I take back my words since somehow we have Big Threads around . I still want to suggest that the posts at that forum shouldn't count (Towards the ACS and post count).

I can type decent english posts even with a Sega Saturn at 28.8k (I may yet post here with it) but allowing game/spam posts to appear that much faster is bad... so it isn't really worth it.

I did want to add another small feature, the same >> from the index but would lead to newreply instead...

I just liked it more

I may yet add it in some form, I'm not sure, heh.

Indeed. REMEMBER - needing to reply quickly to game topics so you can get points before others is negated in how others can use it too. And screw those with 28.8K connections. We should not need to cater to those losers.

As I type this post from my PSP, I can say that the longer it takes to enter a post, the better it will be. Quickpost would lead to many impulsive posters and morons making worse posts. And that is never good.

I do, that's why I made my background x10 times smaller in size

It is useful for those whose Internet connection is slow or being stupid. One less page to load.

Yeah, Quick Reply is good when you have to reply as fast as possible in games like Word Association or Knock out the X wall, it effectively allows you to post like x3 times faster (I could do about 80 posts per hour). It doesn't fit this board as we have no reason to hyperposting.

Though it would be useful on a happy hour thread

[19:23.35] <+Cirvante> I see it as encouraging spam and broken tags.

I'm with Xkeeper. It's not that much extra effort to hit the reply button.

A nice feature I saw on phpBB, and for those that don't like it just add an option to ignore it.
if($log && !$thread[closed]) {
print "<form action='newreply.php?id=$id' method='post' />
$tblstart
<tr>
$tccellh><b>Quick Reply</b></td>
</tr>
<tr>
$tccell1><textarea name='message' rows='10' cols='80'></textarea></td>
</tr>
<tr>
$tccell2>
<input type='hidden' name='username' value=\"".htmlspecialchars($loguser[name])."\" />
<input type='hidden' name='password' value=\"".htmlspecialchars($logpassword)."\" />
<input type='hidden' name='action' value='postreply' />
<input type='hidden' name='id' value='$id' />
<input type='submit' class='submit' name='submit' value='Submit Reply' />

<input type='submit' class='submit' name='preview' value='Preview Reply' /></td>
</tr>
$tblend
</form>
";
}
