Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm not that kind of person. Thing is, the picture I'm getting of you so far is that you think all men should treat all women with deep respect, and take anything from a mere joke or hyperbole to extreme racism very seriously. Even though you probably are just going to tear at me again, you really need to pacify a little here. I cringed a little when reading that second sentence. What I'm getting there is that you are worried that if some geniunely bigoted people continue being sexist, it will cause lots of women to not trust men as much. And although I won't argue that that is a concern, I don't think that is is causing THAT much damage.

Even though I'm probably going to get belittled again - I believe you are excluding some groups and countries from "many." There are traditions in some countries that are racist - and many people follow these traditions. Besides, a number people DO think that stereotypes are stupid, and there are some that think every last one of them is. I myself am not a fan of stereotypes either. I don't think a lot of people go to the level of extremity as you do, though. Is stereotyping wrong? Yes. Is it as wrong as you are working it up to be? Maybe. Maybe not.
