My favorite is probably Silence Before the Storm from FFX. Other than that Mario, Zelda, and Chrono Trigger. And of course the other FF games. One Winged Angel and Liberali Fatali definitely. |

The cliff theme in DKC3 is called Rockface Rumble in the in-game sound test, both SNES and GBA.
In DKC2 SNES, the mine theme is simply entitled 'Mines'. In DKC2 GBA, it was called Kannon's Klaim. Now, on the internet, it is commonly known as Mining Melancholy, but this was before DKC2 GBA. It's known as Mining Melancholy because it was NOT on the official DKC2 soundtrack CD. Hope that helps. |

Well, this isn't much of a video game song, but it IS included in a Japanese music game (Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan): Ready Steady Go by L'arc en Ciel. As for authentic songs...
Megaman 2: Wily Stages 1 and 2 Final Fantasy IV: Huge Boss Music (not regular bosses; the few bosses that are truly story driven and serious) Phoenix Wright: The song where you dig even deeper into a testimony; usually the last time the witness will testify, and the song when you find out an extreme contradiction in the witness's testimony (eg. When you find out who Mr. Sawhit really is, and foil him for good) Metal Gear Solid (PS): Boss theme and Alert Mode. EarthBound: Onett, Ness's House, Bike Theme, and the desert song. Dragon Quest VIII: Rhapthorne's Theme (final boss battle), Overworld, and the song that plays when you're flying. Super Street Fighter 2: Bonus Round, Ryu's theme, and Ken's theme. Final Fnatsy VI: Boss theme, Chocobo theme, and a few others that I've forgotten about. Well, my list just keeps on going, but these are probably the songs that I often whistle along with. |

Adding on to my favorite songs from the old thread, I also like the intro music to DKC, Fear Factory from DKC, and Gangplank Gangplank Galleon from DKC. Those 3 songs keep on getting stuck in my head quite often along with the majority of the DKC2 soundtrack.
I have a bunch of other favorites from other video games but there are too many to list. I should post my VG music playlist sometime. |

Green Hill Zone, Castle Corridor from Aria of Sorrow, the FF4 battle and boss music, Still More Fighting from FFVII, Cornered from Phoenix Wright, Star Battle Theme from SMRPG, the Bus theme from Earthbound, the Runaway Five theme from Earthbound, Alkaiser's theme from Saga Frontier, No Mercy, Writhe in Pain, Holy Orders, and Blue Water Blue Sky (all from Guilty Gear XX), half of the soundtrack to Guardian Heroes, the Bonne Family theme from Megaman Legends... And the list will go on. There's no point in identifying a single one. Plus, I mean, I play DDR. Why are you asking me to choose one? |
