Actually, it's occurred to me that just about everything on a second disk on an album of Machine Gun Fellatio's is scary.
Butter My Arse with a Pigeon is funny though. Particularly when a playlist is on random and it just comes out of nowhere -- everyone else starts pulling weird, slightly frightened faces, and I do a little jig. |

The following song contains banjo:
WHEN I WAS YOUNG I HAD A SCARY RECORD, CALLED "SOUNDS TO MAKE YOU SHIVER" IT HAD A TRACK CALLED "LADY GETTIN' TORTURED" I'D GET EXCITED WHEN I HEARD HER MOAN *music* NOW I'M GROWN AND WHEN I'M GETTIN' SEXY, WITH ANYBODY WHO'S PARTICULARLY LOUD I'M ALWAYS STOPPIN' TO ASK THEM IF I HURT 'EM I KNOW IT'S TIRESOME BUT I JUST HAVE TO ASK *music, with moaning* |

Originally posted by [GGS If you want some truly creepy songs by Yamane (in my opinion), try listening to Destructive God from the Past (Lament of Innocence OST Bonuses) and Dracula (Curse of Darkness). Both sent chills down my spine when I first heard them, especially the latter with the choir kicking in. |

A little known band called "Gentle Tasaday" released a song called "Of Cobwebs And Obtuse Angels". It is about 16 minutes long and just gets creepier and creepier as it goes.
Another little little known band called "Alva" released an album called "Fine-Haired Guillotine" which oftentimes sounds like nightmarish carnival music with occasional strange lyrics. One song in particular creeps me out when the only vocal is some high pitched female voice saying "mommmmmmmmmy" in the background. |

"Number Nine" by the Beatles. Just... just don't listen to it. It's probably safer for your sanity that way. |

For some reason, some Rush songs really creep me out when I'm really tired.

My Heaven.
Or just about any other "song" from that game (although the UFO track is absoloute hilarity) |

Fantomas - Delirium Cordia, around minute 24 or soemthing. It provides such a huge sense of loneliness and decay.
Clock Tower (SNES) has somewhat freaky music as well. |

The Forest Temple theme from Zelda: OoT has a way of wracking my nerves after a while. It's not like I'm scared, but it makes me very uneasy after about 2-3 hours of playing the game. I think it unnerves me b/c the music almost sounds like someone laughing at you. |

Machine Gun Fellatio -- Sick of the taste of Truckers' Come.
Oh wait, you mean songs that creep me out in a more traditionally scary way? o.o Uh... I can't say I really have many. Do You Realise? by the Flaming Lips may come close... |

What songs creep you out when you're by yourself? Anyone know any good ones?
Clint Mansell - Lux Aeterna -A classic but it creeps me out when I listen to it by myself at night. It makes me think that death is coming my way. Michiru Yamane - Evil fog-enshrouded nightscape -From Castlevania LOI, the music box instruments are well-played but it depresses me somewhat and at the same time it creeps me out. Marilyn Manson - Resident Evil Theme -Cool but eerie. Resident Evil 2 - Library -Very scary song. |
