I had discussed the idea in an older tattoo thread but now that I have something to work with I wanted to make a new thread in general for more exposure. |

I think NsNick was the other person who made a similar thread for his tattoo
Anyways, the tattoo design doesn't look bad, hopefully, it won't look too cartoony... |

Either I'm having déjà vu, or I've seen this exact same topic before.
Anyways, I like the design, and I can totally see a Triforce in there. |

Hey guys!
Yeah, I've been conspicuously absent since school started. Between that and family stuff and work and all I've been pretty freakin busy. Hopefully things will settle down a bit soon. Anyway, on to the point of this thread. I'm going to Bossier on Tuesday because a friend of mine wants me to tag along. She's getting a tattoo. Now, I've been wanting to get my third tat for quite a while. I wanted something that has meaning. I decided to go with the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom from the Ultima games. The codex symbol represents 8 virtues and 3 principles. See the wiki for the symbol and for a description of the virtues. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_of_Ultimate_Wisdom http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtues_of_Ultima I wanted to change the design and make it my own while having it still retain all of its meaning. I like knotwork, and am proud of my Celtic heritage. This is the only design I was able to come up with, crudely done in MS Paint and The Gimp. This is going to be permanent, so I'm asking for input and also for those of you who are better artists and more skilled at drawing or using graphics programs to see what you can come up with or do with what I have. This is gonna be permanent so the more I have to take in with me the better. |
