Taryn starting to feel really not good. Taryn going to sit down for a bit while floors dry. On the bright side, my place looks fantastic. I give it about a day. |

I hate cleaning like that.
I always keep things tidy, but when it comes to actually scrubbing/dusting and all that... ugh. I put it off for as long as I can. |

Well... it IS the kind of crap you wind up putting off and putting off... cleaning the fridge? cleaning the microwave? vaccuming and mopping the entire house? vaccuming the couch?
Generally the place is "neat" and "tidy", and things are kept mostly clean. This is just the kind of cleanup that probably wouldn't have been so much work if I'd just done some of these tasks along the way a bit.... And tidying out stuff in the "junk room" was good, I got rid of another box of crap that I don't need; now the only things in boxes are breakable items I don't want to unpack lest they...well.. break. It feels good to have disposed of a lot of... well... *crap* It's starting to get down to quieter tasks now.... the vacuuming and mopping's the last big one. |

I've been like this for the last couple of days too. o.o
Well, not really starting at 4am or anything like that, but cleaning things that haven't been cleaned in a while, or just things that 'could' be cleaned, and.. yeah. I cleaned out the fridge, cleaned most of the bathroom (not cleaning the tub, because some guy's coming to fix it soon anyway, so I'll have to clean it again after that, and it's not very dirty at all at this point anyway), cleaned my room (in the extreeeeeme), cleaned the living room, vacuumed floors and cleared them off getting ready for mopping and such, built a new shelf for my closet, cleaned off my boyfriend's desk (>> ..It was.. pretty scary. XD), cleared out the cupboards and the fridge of old foodstuffs.. I plan on going through my clothes tomorrow and deciding what I don't wear anymore, and finding a place to hang stuff, since my new shelf sort of smucked my hanging room. :< Then again, I also have an art project that I need to finish, so I'll probably do that first. Might end up doing both though. xD I seem to be working pretty quickly. >> I don't know, maybe it's the time of year or something. o.o; It feels weird, doesn't it? xD |

Well, the good thing is that you don't have to do a major cleaning job anytime soon.
On the other hand, if the house wasn't that messy and you've been busting your ass off all night/morning... Yeaaaah. |

Well, it's starting to come up to lunch time, so I'll take a break to eat something Other than that, uh.... I still have a fair bit of stuff I'd like to do, but I don't expect it should take longer than a few more hours.
My junk room is starting to look more like an actual... room... that somebody could stay in if they needed to. I'm slowly starting to remove all the little annoying things that have been bothering me for a while. You wanna know what the funny thing is -- house wasn't that messy to begin with, but I've still been cleaning/tidying/throwing out/etc for 7 hours... |

Don't start washing the newly-washed floors or anything like that, Taryn. Take a rest. |

D= You can't dye hair if it has no hair to dye ! |

Well, I'm looking forward to that part of the "cleanup" as well. Chances are they'll all need to go in the bin, but I'll back up anything important to my fileserver before I destroy them.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I also washed the shower curtain It had hair dye on it. |

Pfft, I won't crash at work. Most likely I'll go to bed early tonight -- so I'll crash tonight instead
Well, kitchen is nearly spotless. I don't know why I'm bothering with some things (like cleaning the fridge) but anyway.... it's not that dirty but I really should give it a clean every now and then. I think technically this can be counted as "spring cleaning" or something. Oh and for anyone wondering, the time here is now 9.50am and I: * have done 3 out of 4 loads of washing * have cleaned the shower, bath, sink and bathroom mirror, have tidied bathroom floor ready for mopping (will do whole house when I do that) * have cleaned the toilet * have assembled a bag full of old clothing to sell to a secondhand clothing store * have thrown out half a garbage bag of crap, including old clothing that is too crap to sell, old paperwork, miscellaneous junk * have located.... 15 CD-R's -- and I do not have the faintest idea what is on any of them (this is a job for later) * have located tax records I was trying to find * have done the dishes * have cleaned out some old food from the pantry that has gone stale * have cleaned out some old food from the fridge that has just gone funny (but I do this every weekend anyway) * have tidied my computer desk * have tidied crap out of my bookshelf * have located a secondhand clothing store that will buy my old clothes * have cleaned the stove * have attended to a Medicare bill And there's still a whole lot more I want to do.... oh well, at the end of it all, I'll have gotten rid of a lot of junk and have gotten a whole lot of stupid nasty cleaning things out of the way |

It's great that you're being productive, Taryn, but at this time of night/day?
You're so gonna crash at work on Monday. |

I haven't had a day off from either job in 5 weeks.
Before February I hadn't had a full time job. Go figure. |

That actually happens to me when I get pissed off, or extremely stressed out. I usually wake up the next next morning looking for something and realising I threw it out. Then again that's the only time I actually get cleaning done so |

I will trade you 1 x motivation for 99 x laziness
... ok, in seriousness, that's kind of weird and yet strangely good as it is beneficial for you so do not waste your motivation on posting here |
