He might already be approved... but wow. This, coming from a newbie (not n00b), that the other forums are nowhere near as good as this one? I think Xk got it right.

I don't think I need to wait for someone else's input here.

Hey I'm Andrew, I go my Azraziel on the Wire. Going to to school for a BA in Illustarion, minoring in Fine Art and Animation. Recently in the past few months I've been working on a hack for Pokemon Ruby. I decided it would benfeit me to learn how games are created, layouts, creating text, placing objects in a objective manor, because hopefully I'd like to make a carerr on character and enviromental design for games. I mean while I like chracter design, its hard field to get steady work in and as a gamer, when college allows me time to play, I've find its the exploration of a game that allows me to really enjoy it.
As it goes I've altered most of the map of Ruby, plus or minus about ten panels that will drop you somewhere you get stuck ( I'm working on that ). But I've reached a snag, I lack the abilities to countine on without some explation of the tools, mostly sprite, item interaction and warp placement in expanded areas. I realize too that probally knocks me down a few levels on how helpful I can be but I will say I learn quick but as much as I've searched a can't find a tutorial on the Pokemon Advance hacking programs, so I'm limited to text, pokemon distatbution (sp?) and enviromental aspects ( which I nod my head to all hackers as a tough task to balacne intresting looks, playablity and the need to quicky get past the area once you've seen it too many times). Anyways the forums seen to be the best, no crap, no tolerance for people wo don't want to work, and I like that. The amount of useless posts I've seen on other sites makes me frustrated to go through twenty pages of spam for an answer.
