Don't forget sheep.

This game seems like it'd be perfect on a system with a pointing device. I haven't played it but it looks that way from previews I've seen.

Fear of double vowels isn't irrational. Double vowels killed my parents. Double vowels are an atrocity. Darn aardvarks.... and... oops.

I've heard a lot about this game, but I never actually found out what it was about. Now that I know, this sounds very interesting. I might consider picking it up now that I know what it's about - in fact, I even remember a game with a similar concept of drawing things to use to your adventage, but I forget what it was called.

As far as I'm concerned, I go by the English name, unless they HORRIBLY butchered or otherwise desecrated the English name. It's really not that big a deal.

I just got this game the other day. It had so much potential. Potential they decided to crush with the most ear-bleedingly irritating pseudo-voice-acting in the history of the universe.

Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful game.
Just as long as you put your TV on mute when anyone starts talking.

I read about Okami last week and had to go find it right away, and it completely sucked me in. I love the incredibly interactive environment and the satisfying pace of gameplay. I can sit down for a couple of hours and make great progress, and there's always plenty more to do. The combat is the perfect difficulty for me. New enemies require some effort and thought, but they're not horrendous pains in the ass, and it feels great when I learn their patterns well and can wipe the floor with them. I like how most of the enemies are in scrolls that you can avoid if you want. Some reviewers may think Okami is too easy, but that's fine by me. I'm a casual gamer. I like making good progress each time I play, and I like reasonable challenge that is enjoyable to overcome. (Incidentally, Disgaea 2 has been meshing very well with my casual gamer-dom thus far, but that's another topic.) I'm not sure if I'll bother beating all of the optional minigames and fights - some of these are reportedly incredibly difficult - but at least they're there for completionists and people who want a real challenge.

My only aggravation thus far was having trouble with one of the digging minigames because I couldn't get the water spout to work reliably, but then I read that it's best to just draw a short stroke up (I'd been drawing long lines), and I beat it soon thereafter. I also wish you could speed up the text because I read much faster than it draws.

It's for the PS2. I really love the art style, and the idea of playing as a wolf. The graphics are... Stunning, and, according to reviews, it sounds like an awesome game. I also love the ink brush idea.

Good ol' Capcom.

(Note: I can't believe that you've never heard of this game. Preorders are abundant.)

Oh yeah, almost forgot. It's nearing fall, and that means there will be a gigantic release of games. It's like a fat guy just farted out games.

Its a very beautiful game. It's like a moving japanese painting. Very stylizied cel-shading.

On top of that, its actually pretty fun. Standard 3d adventure game for the most part. However, In addition to your standard moves (run, jump, attack), you're given an ink brush, which you can do all sorts of things with. I haven't gotten very far yet, but so far i've built bridges, restored rivers, and slashed through enemies with it.

The story's pretty cool too, if you're into the whole Japanese mythology thing.

Overall, its a very nice game.

Whats it for? It sounds like PC or gamecube to me.
