CRAP! I forgot about multi booting... I erased vista from my laptop to go back to XP, but that screwed it all up. I put it back to vista to now have no sound, and the sound driver won't reinstall. DANG! |

You should use a multiboot loader like GRUB. Have a special Linux entry, and then just an entry to whichever Windows partition is used to boot either WinXP or WinVista, which is operated by boot.ini (which is still used, dunno what you're talking about) |

A screenshot of Acmlm on Vista build 5536.
By the way, has anyone tried multi-booting Vista + XP + Any version of Linux? I have not tried this but I don't know how it will work with Vista's boot manager because boot.ini is no longer used. |

I don't care if its bad, I just want it so I can get all of these drivers (which some of them should not be running) off my computer (Vista hopefully supports all of them *prays*) |

I never had chips challenger on my computer but I always loved it on my Grandmas computer. I hted that level with all the flames though. Now that I think about it my grandma had Mario is Missing, the PC port. I think I have the disk, should i keep it or sell it on ebay. |

Which makes me wonder why Microsoft dropped the entermint packs. Some of them were actually quite good and if they offered them at a good price. I really had pleasant memories with the Chip Challange's game, while it's technically a port (or remake, since it's not the same) it's probably the best game Microsoft have ported. |

Inkball reminds me of those old Windows 3.1 games, eh
Oh, and some of you might have guessed my impression: Based on previous Windows releases alone, I have no faith for Windows Vista at all. |

I imagine it has some sort of coding to prevent it running on older versions. But expect many people to write open-source clones soon enough. |

Presenting... INKBALL! The greatest game that looks like it should be on a PDA and not on vista! But I don't really care cause its fun!
The object of the game is to draw out lines to knock the colored balls into there respective holes. Put a different colored ball into a different colored hole and you've lost! I wish this game was available for XP users. I tried to extract the vista ISO to find the game but I couldn't find anything. Anyone who thinks they can do it should try and get the game. It would be great to be ale to pla it on XP,then I can erase vista from my laptop. |

I'll probably end up staying with XP for a while. I'f I need to change for whatever reason, I will. By then there should be enough tweaks and shit to make it not suck ass and rip out much of the DRM crap. HOPEFULLY I can get classic windows style because Aero Glass is uuuuuuugly. Also, by then I can just run my old Win98 games in an emulator. |

Inkball is the only good thing coming out of Vista as of this moment. |

I'll post some screens of it just for the hell of it. It's really fun! |

Yeah, XP would likely get you by. Heck, Win98SE worked when I was running stuff designed primarily for modern computers (Soundblaster Live! 24-bit), and I still use it. Considering Xp's age, it'll likely be supported by microsoft for a good long time, so no need to upgrade (apparently, no want either ) |

Windows XP is resource intensive enough the way it is. Not that it matters. And I thought maybe the 64-bit support would come around... but I don't see that happening anytime soon (although it will probably come around for Windows first), my Athlon 64 is crying because he is not used to his full potential. |

Lets all just live with XP and then when our computers die, buy a computer made for vista, not just vista compatible cause that means they can just get by and not be able to run vista at full performance. |

If they release anything similar to what RC1 is like, I'm not touching it with a pole spanning from Nebraska to China, I'll just leave one partition with XP Pro, and the rest with various linux distros. |
