He can beat you on Mario Kart online so you don't have to meet up with him *solely* for that purpose.

PAX might be the closest to a few of you meeting up.

Anybody up near Washington State?

I know Alastor is near me, but I think all that would happen would be him pwning me in Mario Kart.

I probably should have gone to PAX, and I'm sure I could have met a few of you guys there, but I was busy with stuff.

Perhaps next PAX, or some other big event held on the West Coast.

That would probably be easier to do, but the people I want to meet don't live nearby or I probably would have suggested meeting them already.

YOU REFUSED MEETING ME WHEN I WAS 10 MINUTES AWAY BASTARD >8(

Is that you...SomerZ?

Anyways, it could be small, maybe worldwide where people meet up on the same day at the same time, and a live video feed shows the other people from the other meetup points. Would be hard to setup though...

I would definatly hire some sort of security though, people like you guys can get restless =\.

And a Doomclock event would be awesome, that would be a must!

I'd get drunk with a few of you from here. Sure.

A convention from here would honestly, suck. It'd be a total sausage-fest. and I want to punch a lot of you.

Then again, a few of us meeting up somewhere would be cool. We should arrange one sometime. Maybe for those of us in the New England area = TGA meet-up sometime?

See, four or five years ago, I knew everyone, and was very active here. Now, I have like no clue what's going on around here.

Still, I guess I could go and wear a shirt that said "Capital Z, damnit!" - that way, those people who would understand and thus hopefully be interested in talking to me would be those people I'd be interested in talking to.

Holy shit, I was wondering where you went.

A convention doesn't have to be like 500 people. 20 is good! I dunno, doesn't have to be superlarge, anyway.

I think a 20-person convention is called a party. Especially one that involves this much booze.

Ah good luck! I've tried to organise a Citadel Meetup for 8 years now (Yep that was no typo), and no luck, though the odd Citadelier has met another. I've met 2 (although I was engaged to one at the time, so don't suppose she counts ). I wouldn't mind attending, it would be interesting to put faces to names. I'd supply the karaoke. Karaoke + Alcohol = Good laughs

Personally, I believe the best bet would be a meetup for users in a specific area (ideally a big city where many users live) would be the best bet. It doesn't have to be accessable to everybody. In fact, given how many people here are young and lower-middle class, trying to make it so that it is accessable to nearly anybody would be more trouble than it's worth, and even if by some stroke of luck we can figure something out, the odds of it working (factors such as parents or real life would get in the way of many) are slim and none.

So yeah. Just hold meetups in big cities (where there are bound to be many users who live there to begin with), and the users in nearby ones (or even faraway ones) can get over there and join if they wish. Make sure you have something to do, like watching a movie, minigolf or something.

I didn't even realize the Z left his letter behind.

But I mean, some of you guys seem interesting enough.

I doubt that inactive members would spend their money to go to a convention full of people they don't even know. I would assume that a majority of those that would attend... would be active members. Or someone who lucked out and the convention was in their town.
