If we could just replace the characters with that, but keep (or even better, use a higher-quality version of) the original background, it'd be perfect.
the new one lacks a lot of the smaller touches, wether they're made by bad JPG compression or not. :/ |

Well, on the original one, the letters aren't pure yellow, it's some sort of gradient from a Yellow to the other.
Also, use JPG and bad compression, that's what the people want   |

This is pretty cool, but it doesn't have the charm of the current one, being Acmlm-made and all. Maybe it could be used in a new scheme, like a Daily Cycle 2.0 or something. |

I actually prefer the older one, this new one seems too soft, and while it does fix certain aspects that were bugging me (roughness of ace's skin right above his nose) it also ruins alot of the things I enjoy seeing (roughness, contrast, w/e) |

I really like that banner. The brighter banner looks much cleaner and more interesting than the fuzzier old one. I'm impressed that you were able to make it look exactly like the old without taking anything from it.
Any chance of that going up top anytime soon? |

Normal sized version.
Double sized version, to more drastically show off the higher image quality. Remade almost entirely. The only thing I used the original for was to get the pattern/texture of the blue background. |
