It's because it all started with the Daniversary, which made more sense. But, yeah, I agree with Xk.

On a more fun note, happy fifth, Taryn! I hit mine, like *looks at post layout* 3 months, 3 days, 14 hours, and 20 minutes ago (roughly). We all be oldies!

The problem with "Anni____" lies in the problems it would cause with users with names like "Great Chicken". And "anni____" just doesn't have the same ring to it as "___versary," although both terms are silly.
