I concur: My friends and I mod nerf weaponry. There was a point last semester in school where we wouldn't dare be caught anywhere on campus grounds without our trusty sidearms. The N-Strike Maverick is one of the best weapons ever.
And if you mod it out by removing the speed/air inhibitor and then add weighted darts without air openings in the front to the mix, they start to really HURT if you get someone just right. |

..Anyway. He got a bunch of nerf guns so we could run around outside and be silly, without making a mess, or getting hurt. heh. I like them because I bruise easily. Paintballs kinna hurt, and I end up black and blue everywhere I get hit. That, and nerf darts are reusable, and you don't have to run out and buy more all the time. It's actually a lot of fun. :3 Especially when you get a couple of your friends over. |

Well, Nerf stuff can be pretty fun xD its one of those things you never get too old for...the Japanese singer Go Morita used to use Nerf weaponry to ward off his fans during a segment of Gakkou e Ikkou (literaly, it wasn't staged or anything xD they'd approach him on the street and yeah)

I've never smelt burnt plastic. And burnt sugar smells awful. It kills your nose. |

Since he plans on doing more 'fixing' tonight, I plan to leave the room, work on my art project, and .. I'll light some candles when I come back. XD |

light a scented candle to kill the smell. Those always help, and they smell really cool too ^^ |

Perfume should cover up the smell for a while.
Either that or you could take a clothespin and plug your nose, although I don't recommend that as much as perfume due to the pain some clothespins can inflict on your nose. |

My room smells like burnt plastic. And there are bits of orange plastic all over the floor. And I do mean all over it.
My boyfriend has been drilling holes in a few nerf guns (for better performance, or sommat) for the last .. couple of hours. I think he's 'fixed' two, and he's working on another one. Yes, it is making them shoot better, and farther, but.. rawr. I spent over eight hours today cleaning this room. Yes, I know, that's a long time. It was really awfully messy in here though. ..Really, really messy. :< I'm just glad we have a hard wood floor, not carpeting. I'd have to vacuum for a month to get all that stuff out of a carpet. He said he'd vacuum when he's done, and I really hope he does, but I doubt he'll do it tonight. He's spread stuff all over the floor, and just.. arg. And the smell really is incredibly awful. He opened a window, but.. it's still permeating the room. And the sound of that dremmel (drill.. thingy, possibly spelled wrong..) is giving me a headache and driving me up the wall. I've asked him to do it somewhere else, and he says this is the best place to do it. And that he'll be done soon (...). I'd move, but my laptop is being finnicky. If I move, it'll switch to battery, and I'll have to shut it down within an hour. Which, since I'm working on stuff, would suck. I'm just getting really frustrated. I don't want to start some big argument about it, but just sitting here fuming isn't good either. ..Haha, fuming. .. Okay, not funny. Anyway. Sooo, I thought I'd post and grumble about it, so you guys can make inane comments about the smell of cheese being worse, or something of the like, and making me laugh, thus making me forget about being grumpy, and.. yus.  ?
