I believe it was Macho Man (Randy Savage) who did those commercials. Rofl at your brother through.

I remember the commercials for Slim Jim... I sorta liked them. Not that much, but I do remember chuckling a litter. Then again, I was small at the time, so I might've laughed at anything fast and weird. Blah.

I used to eat them. I actually ate only 1 or 2 packs of the jerky total. I remember saving the last box for... Well, unknown reasons. Again, I was young at the time, so it was like collecting coupons from Safeway or something. I remember trying the circular, long ones. I didn't like them. They were too chewy, even by beef jerky's standards. (well, my jerky standards.)

.. Why didn't you delete one, Colin? They're the exact same thing at the exact same time. It was an accident.

But anyway. Anyone remember the commercials for slim jims? Those alone made me never want to try one. They freaked me out.

I can scan food and see if it's unhealthy with sight alone. Mostly. I avoid anything I consider 'too much' for me, but since I'm underweight, I can feel free to eat ice cream when I feel like it (not often).

Generally, I get full too easily; even if I make a living off of junk, I can't eat enough to make myself gain weight. At least, not without trying so on purpose, which would be unhealthy (I often polish off most foods around the house when hungry enough.)

Slim Jims rock!
I try to take in all the juices from them while chewing them up. 3-4 cans don't stand a chance; 1, 2, 3, gone! The juices taste like a spicy beef soup or something. Any beef or jerky products are good in my taste.

Might as well that the total consumptation for that day in snacks was 1500 kcal yesterday. That's about little more than three one hour rides on bike for me.

I find slim jims often too greasy for my tastes. Not to mention when you snap one, a little bit of pure lard seeps out

I prefer standard beef jerky. I forget the name of the brand, but it's in a blue bag. It's tender and delicious, yet not greasy feeling at all... but probably just as bad for you.

I can eat those for days, the ingredients are not welcomeing, nor is the taste that great. I don't know, I just like them.

I ate a whole bag (200g) of chips earlier, then just had to open another one and ugh...

I probably won't eat snacks for a month now. I'm still bit obessed about calories, but don't look until it's too late.

Double post. o.o

..But anyway. I've actually never had beef jerky. The concept always seemed kind of weird to me. There's plenty lying around here, so I could probably try it, but I think I probably won't unless I'm really hungry. heh

Edit: ..I totally just hit 'submit post' by accident when I clicked back on this window from something else. D: (Whoops) ..I also don't remember what I was going to say anymore, so I guess I can just post this again. >>;

Double-posting, Danielle. Bad bad bad. The party's OVER.

And yeah, it might be low in fat and all, but it's going to be salty as hell. That's how good jerky's made, you can't just decide to cut out the salt.

I've never had slim jims, but I love traditional beef jerky. And the kind that I get, at least, isn't really bad for you. Low in fat, low in carbs, low in calories... it's only high in sodium, really.

I like jerky too and haven't had it in a LOOOOOONG time. Too much is bad for you though... 10 is very bad for you, Yoro.

I should buy some pepperoni sticks this weekend. Those are tasty.

Well, I didn't think I would die for real but indeed, it really couldn't have been the healthiest thing in the world. I didn't expect them to be so tastey though I heard theres other varieties, too. I'm tempted to look in to them now.

What on earth are Slim Jims?

I assume some kind of snack food, but.... ah... crunchy beef snack.

Interesting. So it's a kinda jerky thing. I like jerky

I love em as well, though I usually only eat one at a time.

And yeah, you're not going to die, although 10-15 at a stretch isn't exactly the healthiest thing to do.

I love them. Eating 10 or 15 won't kill you unless you're really out of shape.
