Yeah, | is there on my computer below the ESC key, that becomes ° shifted, and ¬ ALT+CTRLed.
Also, it seems my Caracter Map is broken , it shows | as 0x7C, so either you know HEX or you need to open the calculator as well XD BTW, I think you can mess up the configuration of your keyboard on control panel, and you can transform the \ on your keyboard for a key that áéíóús all vowels and makes the SHIFT+2 a @ and stuff... |

I find it funny that the or in the English language works diffrently than the one in boolean algebra. The English language "or" works more like XOR (you can't have both if you want it to be true). While the boolean OR would be and/or in the English language. |

...Not many people bother to memorize Alt-# codes. Character Map does the hard work for you in Windows anyways. |

The Option key on Macintosh makes all the difference (AltCar here has the same purpose), especially since it can be combined with Shift for even more characters, and works with all letters as well ... I remember I could type nearly everything on mine, but there was no Alt-xxxx equivalent |

| is right above Enter, not a problem at all to find.
Of course, aside from saying "||bass", I rarely if at all use that symbol. Maybe if I do the :| thing. |

[]{} isn't so hard here, I just have to use AltCar, while you still have to use Shift for {} on American keyboards ... I also like <> better on French Canadian (< key, hold Shift for >), but it could just be because I got used to that ... American really isn't bad at all as long as you don't need to type any of those special characters like accented letters |

Easy to type on Australian Keyboard too, but then I think that's identical to a US one. |

I like ||bass, tasty especially on pizzas.
And | exists on my Swedish keyboard at least. |

Programming in C/C++, espically when you're working with alot of arrays, is a bitch on non-American keyboards. |

It's Shift-# on my French Canadian keyboard (top-left key, like for "~" on American keyboards), in fact I can type much more than them, like §¶µ±£¢¤¬¦²³¼½¾¸¨´«»°¯àèìòùâêîôûáéíóúýäëïöüÿçÀÈÌÒÙÂÊÎÔÛÁÉÍÓÚÝÄËÏÖÜÇ, mostly from AltCar
But I'll admit a few fairly common characters (like \'[]^) are easier to type on American keyboards |

It's alt+0124 for those of you with inferior non-American keyboards. |
