This is just a wild guess but I had a similar problem happen to my old cellphone, where it would just go blank. If the screen blanks when the case is shut, it could be some kind of malfunction with how the unit detects this closure. (test) |

This has happened quite a few times to me already, and I can't think of any valid reason why.
Basically, the screen goes blank for no apparent reason. It's just covered by a layer of blue, white, black, grey, turquoise, teal, violet, whatever. I was just clicking the back button in Firefox a few minutes ago when it suddenly turned into a dark blue sheet of nothingness. Only thing I tried that actually worked was closing my laptop (which automatically puts it into sleep mode) and turning it back on. Fortunately, the bug never does anything to the computer itself other than the screen. Only times I can think of when it happens is when I left it on over night, and I didn't even do so this time. I don't know if anyone has even had this randomosity happen, but just in case, I thought I'd ask to see if anyone knows about it, and if they have a possible solution. Otherwise, it's no big deal; just an annoyance. |
