Well, apparently Digg voted this one the worst web page ever: Untitled Document.
And a PC World article declared Myspace the worst web site. |

My biggest internet pet peeve are the pop-ups that have the close box hover a half inch above in a transparent space making them blend into the page. Fortunately, I use Firefox and don't have to deal with that too often. |

HTML 4.0? Screw that, I use HTML 3.0 on my page, and it was last updated two days ago.

The worst web page ever was one I was forced to design for somebody, a fireworks website.
Guy has no concept of design or colour theory.... wanted things to be about thirty different colours, blinking, marqueeing, animated gif'ing, flash-ing, java-ing, making noises on load of every page and on click of every link.... I advised against every "feature" but he insisted. I charged by the hour for that evil.... evil.... |

That was back when I was still new to HTML myself ... Firefox's ancestor at the time was Netscape 4, which really wasn't better than Internet Explorer It's not that bad for how old it is, and considering it was made by someone from Thailand, but I'll agree there's been much better pages even before that |

Eh that page is actually rather decent from the pages I seen.
There was a time when most web sites looked like this after all.. |

I think we should contact the site creator and tell them that there's this thing called Firefox that a lot of people use because it is better than Internet Explorer. |

Hardly the worst page ever because I have seen worse, but, it surely isn't one of the best out there well you know, what some might see as a good idea/layout may not to...well, the rest of the world, really ._. |

The things you find on Google.
Pointless blinking text? Check. Background images that don't repeat correctly? Check. Broken links? Check. Designed specifically for IE? Check. Bad organization? Check. (Look under Card "Cupture" Sakura - only one of those images has anything to do with CCS.) Horrid grammar? Check, check and check. The only things missing are popups, an embedded MIDI or two, and scrolling marquees. The first two could very well be present (I see some ad code in there), but I have them blocked. |
