The first one is a little odd and creepy. BUT, the second one is.... a little odd and creepy. I don't know how to use what you said you used(o_0) so I can't really rate on skill. I like a lot of the images in the top one, however.

updated, it's much cooler now, commodore64 multicolor restrictions are very fun to work with, and the pallete (although lacking at times) is pretty awesome

^ actually my second attempt at a doodle, the first I got pretty far on, but the image editor I was using decided to crash on me, link if you feel like seeing the "barebones" lines of it



^ trying out a new c64 image editor, "Project One" which is rumored to a) not crash b) kick more ass than WDStudio, so far that seems to be the case.
