I would suggest using another cable jack, and just running the cord.
Or, just fixing it. I have the same problem. Make sure it's not the cable though. |

or perhaps, feed a cable on the outside of the house to the room where the TV is... |

I can only think of some odd pc+tv combination and that's not even guaranteed to work, move the actual physical TV or get a really long cable (and maybe something to strengthen the signal halfway). |

The good news: I've got a nice new big TV in my house.
The bad news: Thanks to the crappy cable feed it's hooked up to, it's almost useless for actually watching television. I mean, I've still got a DVD player hooked up to it, but the television signal is...crap. Low channels are fuzzy; high ones are unwatchable. I've got a great cable hookup elsewhere in my house...digital cable still screws up from time to time, but things have improved drastically since I unhooked that dinosaur splitter from the line. But to get that TV feed from point A to point B, I would have to run about 200 feet of cable across my house and through some very high-traffic areas. The obvious solution, of course, is to go wireless. Problem is, I don't know if that's possible. I'd do searches on Best Buy, Circuit City and Radio Shack, but I don't even freakin' know what to look for. What I'm trying to ask is this: is there any way to wirelessly transmit a signal from a wall outlet to a TV? |
