aww... it's fine to emote. I think it has a "sad" look to it, personally. As for the neck angle, I dunno, I assumed sitting and looking up from a leaning-over sitting position
Couldn't care less if a "message" is "emo" when the intention is to actually express feelings that you're experiencing. Everyone acts like it's so terrible to actually express emotions such as depression, sadness or such, cause you're "emo". But the fact is, that's all part of the human experience, and just about everything that's part of the human experience comes out in art. Besides, if you bottle it up you go batshit crazy. Like me! |

i try to emote my depression a bit, and that's what i get. way to burst my fucking art bubble. i'm going to sleep and hopefully stop being *dangerously* depressed.
i get very irritable and pissy when i'm this sad and pissed. nothing aginst you personally. (i refuse to emote my problems through the officer's club) |

The picture lacks a lot of shading. That could improve the quality. The neck is kind of at an odd angle. The eye's have more of a determined look than a sad one, then you see the mouth and he looks odd. I don't like the message going across either. It's to cliche and... well.... emo. The hair was done nicely, but I can't say I like this picture to much. |

Some of their foreheads seem a bit shallow, but Wes looks particularly cool because of the way his head is tilted and his face protrudes. You are definately improving from your old drawings. |

It's not bad or anything, it's not going to turn my head however. |

I like the designs, wes and slain specifically, but I'd suggest doing more full-bodied drawings, for a long time I would draw nothing but shoulder-up because that's what I was good at, the end result was me not being good at drawings heads, and horrible at drawing a person, [witty comment saying something about balance here] |

I don't have a tablet, but I aim to get a wacom soon enough with the money I'm making at work.
Thanks a lot, you two. |

I like the chick with the nose stud.
You don't have a tablet, do you? If you did, I'd like to see you try to refine these a bit in something like openCanvas and colour (nothing special colour, just give us an idea) them |
