I don't see your point. Spam exists, yes. But it shouldn't be promoted just because it is something different and gives administrators something to do. From what you're saying, its existence is a paradox, so the easiest thing to do is not be one of those morons who spam . Let the idiots be the "pepper of life", as you say. |

The banned user ended up getting code access and is the owner to this day. Yeah, it was interesting. |

Imagine a world in where SPAM doesn't exist, all threads are posted on the correct forums, nobody flames, no old threads get bumped, nobody reregs and so and so.
Wouldn't something be lost? Wouldn't admins and mods be useless now? Think about it, god created the bad stuff so we have a deeper understanding of the good stuff and can appreaciate and enjoy it more. |

Hey, chill. Unless I haven't checked through the board and seen that you've done bad things to the board to the past, it's not like the admins will permaban you on the spot for one small thing you did. Tempban for a week, maybe, for somehow annoying the public, but really, the most bans I've seen on this board are because of reregisters and idiocy, and... well, you don't look like a noob to me. Unless you flame people or troll around the boards, you needn't worry. |

I'm not going to lie.
Sometimes I'm downright afraid to post becuase of someone thinking I'm a waste of bandwidth. I'm always afraid that what I say will be scowl at because it has no physical use I was relieved when I opened it to find it wasn't a thread full of flames from admins. I don't really have anything else better to do with my time except post stuff like this in hopes that it will raise a chuckle or two. No, I don't have much of a life. And I do enjoy the way things are. EDIT: Except for the link below.... Could've gone without that..... |

I've administrated at one message board, and there was this, like, fourteen-year-old Naruto fan who would get on late at night and spam and say the most absurd things you've ever heard in your life. Y'know why? It all started because I warned him for trolling on one occasion. A minor case of trolling. On one occasion.
Then he went ballistic and started flaming me, temp-banned him, started spamming on several different accounts, perma-banned him and his alt accounts... I even told him several times that I would let him back on if he could not spam the forum for even a month. Didn't end up happening, and I knew it wouldn't, but I figured it'd be okay if I gave him a chance. Or two. Or twenty. All of which he blatantly refused. It's kind of sad because he obviously cared about the forum a lot, but he thought the best way to get unbanned was to begin spamming it like a retard. Poor kid, I kinda feel sorry for him. But, oh my GOD. This kid would go on rants about how I wasn't a "true Naruto fan". I would un-IP ban him with the intent of giving him another shot, and every time he claimed that he'd hacked his way back onto the board using a program. So, not only did he claim to be a hacker, but he claimed to be a script kiddie as well. Even though he was even pretty pathetic for a script kiddie. I don't have any way of accessing some of the stuff he said, but it was hilarious. Bloodstar was actually a member of that board, so he might remember it. |
