The only part of my laptop that has broken is the charger, and whenever it has done my mum took it to her work and her work friends fixed it. And it cost me nothing! |

I've dropped many hundreds of dollars repairing my laptop. I had the dvd burner die. Then it was the MB. Last time was the hard drive. Ugh. I'm sticking to desktops from now on. I can fix those myself. |

Your keyboard has some brown spots on it?
My iBook G4 keyboard has... 5 letters that I can see all of... the rest are either entirely or mostly rubbed off... |

I know the feeling; my power supply went kaboom a few months back, I was pissed. But yeah, it cost my $`00 to fix it. |

6 months to get a computer back. Geez, what ever happened to good olde fashioned customer service. |

After being in the repairment stoe for 6 months, I finally got it back!
It's one sexy iBook G4. Apparently the Hard drive was kaboom, and the Command button was loose. Now it's all excellent but the keyboard is brown for some parts. Makes me regret all those times I was on the comp with dirty fingers.. Nevertheless, dicuss. |
