I just realized that Hot Foot Caverns is Red Maro Bros 3. And with all the consecutive end boss fights with miles of bricks, this hack truly is for masochists. Not to mention having to replay the world if you missed the key!

First time I see myself in the credits, never completed this hack.
That's fucking awsome, I wonder how long it took him to find that route... |

These are a lot of fun to watch, but on the other hand, I'm mad that somebody had to go program the tools that one could use to create such a movie, 'cause people like me who used to make savestate incapable .nsm movies have a shitload of worthless .nsm's right now. I could submit my dramatic speed run of Smb2 where I played all 20 levels with no powerups or deaths and it'd get spit on because somebody did it 10 minutes faster by cheating.
Well at least it revealed all kinds of things I didn't know about. I thought you could only get hit 3 times with the magic wand suit. I don't know what he did there. And that trick where you could go through walls, I didn't even know that was possible (probably easiest with the wand suit). I've done wall jumps a few times, but never wall skips. |

Maybe, but at the same time if you watch the credits to the game, which is usually in the movie when recorded to AVI, you'll see DD plastered as the creator...along with the beta testers and special thanks. |

That movie was neat as all those movies in bisqwit. Too bad that in the credits the guy doesn't mention DD as the author of the hack, he only mentions a friend of him who introduced the hack |

I knew there was working being done to it, but I didn't know it got finished. Damn that was quick.
Probably be as good a watch as Super Demo World TLC was. |

Ok!
I noticed the Mario Adventure downloads on my site were suddenly rising and I found out about this. Pretty sweet indeed. Congrats to you DahrkDaiz for making it so far. The TAS communicity is actually pretty big. |

Wow. I'm impressed with how he handled the Desert Dare where Spoiler: you have to dance on the tilting lift for 50 seconds. If you didn't know the level would stop then, you'd think he'd blow the whole run. |

hehe, Im quite honored that my hack was TAS'd and people are impressed by it. maybe LvM will get the same treatment, who knows. |

I just watched that movie yesterday. And I must say I was pretty impressed. It was very interesting to see how complex alot of levels were that I never could make it to on my own. |

I figured this'd be the most appropriate place to put this. Either way, DD's huge Mario Adventure hack has been given a full tool-assisted speedrun, blasting through the hack with perfect reflexes and all the usual TAS fun. It's pretty interesting to see, paticularly when DD's level work gets soundly trashed by the guy glitching through walls. |
