Heh, reminds me of before I knew about table files. Since editing text in hex was a pain I decided to get a font creator and try to edit it in Notepad.  |

Just fiddle with it in YY-CHR, and then change it's palette through LM. |

alright i understand. One more question though: In the thread below which is titled Mario Chronicles 2, the creator uses different text in his title screen from the original text. Did he just edit the original text in YY-CHR or is there another way to make it look as professional as that? |

Sorry, but no. You can only use a tile editor, and then change the colours in LM.

alright...umm...for example is there any way where i can take a .bmp file (or any image file) and replace one of the letters that are already there? (I want to replace the letter "R" that is already there with a .bmp image of a "cooler" "R")..Is there any way this is possible? |

EditGFX28.bin and GFX29.bin with a tile editor (you can't edit these files in LM) set to 2bpp NES format. |

Hey, I was just wondering if there was any way of getting different text to appear in the title screen. I realize there obviously is a way to put in custom text into the title screen. Would anybody be willing to share this information with me? Thanks, Chris. |
