Emerald is not very supported, switch to ruby.

I'm using Emerald, but I wouldn't mind changing to Ruby.

I think your firered rom... [Thats what you are using right?]
Is a bad dump, because it works fine for me. My advice would be to switch to ruby due to it would be easyer. However it's your choice.

Fire Red, Leaf Green, and Emerald all have uncompressed trainer back pics you can edit them in TLP....if something says its not specified in the ini, its just that--not specified in the ini

Yeah for Firered and leaf green your going to have to use UNLZ.GBA.EXE to edit it. There is an offset thread for FR and LG at the pokecommunity, I would go grab it but the pokemon community loads so slow on dial-up.
