zsnesdos within dosbox. Ran awfully. I tried super mario world and I got, like, 5-10 FPS with an 8bit video setting and no sound. It was mostly to remember what zsnes 0.952 was like, which was the first version I ever used. Ahh, those were the days. :p |

Goomba (GB emulator) on VisualBoy Advance...
Don't think I've done anything other than PocketSNES, and PocketNES |

NO$GMB on DOS is fantastic for low-end systems. My 486/25 ran GB games at 100% speed and that's saying something... only other system I could emulate acceptably at the time was NES via NESticle. |

Callus(Caddilacs & Dinosaurs) + DOSbox runs at full speed for me.
Thank god for assembly! |

I'm pretty sure I've seen someone try to run ZSNES in DOSBox on a mac (I want to say it was YD at the time).
You might be able to get an okay framerate out of Nesticle or NO$GMB with some features turned off. It'd run, at best, like a 486/33. |

I'd only use recursive emulation to test out something because there's really no point in, say, playing NES roms through a GBA emulator since it isn't the system the game was meant to be played on. :\ |

Redundant is Qemu in PearPC |

I've run PocketNES in VBA to test it. Other than that, what's the point? |

Has anyone tried to do redundant or recursive emulation?
I don't think the latter is possible right now, but once DOSbox supports virtual boot records (if ever at all) to support Windows 95, you know what i'm gonna do... |
