I made a HP system a long time ago... I never released it, though. Ice Man has been using it in his hack for quite some time. |

New health bar, magic bar, 6-digit coin counter, time machine part counter, status bar hole fixed, and Icegoom's sprites. Flying, and shooting fireballs use MP. Mushrooms will increase HP, and flowers will increase MP. |

the overworld, like everyone else said, needs work but I have a slight problem with the story. If Mario was trying to go somewhere, wouldnt he be trying to build a teleporter? Unless the MK is in a different time era |

Mostly everything has been already said, but I would like to say that the second screen from above is also my favourite and I also like the ground tiles for the first level a lot. Looks unique, which isn't a bad thing. I'm not so sure about the trees, they doesn't seem to fit graphic-wise to a Mario-game.
But, 10 jumps to beat a Chuck? Isn't that a bit too much, I think three times is really enough. If you have to hit him more, you will have to spend a lot of time defeating this particular enemy and that may be fun one time, but if you put several Chucks in your hack with that attributes, it will get annoying very fast (or every one will just ignore this guy and jump over him without defeating him). Besides that, good work - and I hope you have a chance to get the glitches fixed. |

Sweet. I like the graphics, especially those in the castle, and the world selection idea is very cool. The only problem I have with that is that means every level is just as easy or just as hard, unless there's a pattern to doing the levels that isn't necessarily in chronological order, and the player has to figure it out. That'd rock, it'd be like Megaman where you have to figure out which Maverick or robot is weaker to the power of the other.
The overworld, to be brutally honest, sucks. It's a bit too usual. Just kinda spiff it up a bit (yes, spiff is a verb). Add some indescriminate islands that you never have to visit (unless secret levels are in order!) and there you have it. |

That patch acame around when I told Fu about the roblem... it was first rectified in that patch. The fix was later incorporated into LM 1.63.
But anyways, so that's why my parachute bom-ombs messed up... Anyways, it's all right, but your graphics are pretty plain, and seems... like they're morer suited to a beta stage of development where it's only the engine and such that's recieving the attention. Otherwise, good, and quite the interestring storyline! |

Anyway, it looks alright. The graphics look very different from any other hack I've seen, so consider that a plus. They suit SMW well, and the style of them is neat. I do however, see a few negative things I want to comment on. 1. Your levels seem sorta bland. I know you put enemies in them and stuff, but seriously, they just look surprisingly empty to me. 2. As already stated, the OW's are kinda bad. I know you are going to fix up the world select, and that is fine. (I also like how you can beat the worlds in any order - that is cool) The plains one looks too much like and island, since 60% of the map is covered with water. You may consider adding more details, more land, and spreading the levels apart. Those are the only negative things, but they are kind of major. I really like the look of the new status bar too, it is pretty neat. My favourite screenie is the second from the bottom - it looks the most interesting, and the level reminds me of Castlevania for some reason (FTW) Overall, it has a lot of potential, but a lot of things need to be improved |
