I play bass in a punkish / screamo kinda band...
Only played for about a year and a half. But I played guitar since I was 7 before I got my bass, so it wasn't hard at all to play... Not like it would have been anyway, haha, to me it's the easiest instrument to learn and play. |

Bb, Bass, Contrabass Clarinet in a span of about 10 years.
Can I play spectacularly? Probably not...but I didn't particularly suck at them either. |

Ginormous is a fake word, you know...gigantic + enormous buut, yah..that's it. Mine looks alot like that. Fun fun ^^ |

It looks kind of like a balalaika, just not as pretty. The balalaika is a traditional Russian instrument. I'm trying to find ethnic music stores in Toronto, should be easy, but most of the instruments are sold at auction here and I can't afford the high prices.
Oh and my balalaika was sold this morning |

Don´t really know what ginormous means, though.
Found a picture. |

Yah...long, thin, and only has 3 strings (F, C, F). And it has the coolest ginormous pick, ever |

I might not know how it sounds but I recognize the name of it.
Is it long and thin? I´d gladly listen to some of the sounds samples. |

Oooo! I nearly forgot, somehow I also can play the shamisen kind of nice (I think so anyway!), it is a..traditional Japanese instrument..okay, you know that stereotypical asian sounding instrument? It is that. I have old recordings of me if nobody knows what it is. |

I play the ocarina, and I played the viola when I was little. I should maybe try playing that again some time! |

Get an electric tuner. Whole process shouldn't even take 5 minutes if its not too far out of whack. Just takes a 9V battery, they're relatively cheap, and most can double as a metronome, so thats always an added plus |

I picked up my guitar today.
I spent more time tuning it instead of actually playing it. Geez. The only sound I made on it sounded like a mixture between cats having sex and a power drill. |

I'm learning how to play the guitar. I'm teaching myself, and so far I think I'm doing pretty good. |

I play the banjo. Not well, but I play it.
I can also play the baritone. :o Can you say ska-grass!? |
