I think it would be more fitting to ask "why do furries wear clothes?" |

Setzo, if I were to load MSPaint, I'd get something close to 1-bit. Pressure or no pressure. It's quite like pencilling, but not on paper. And you get an undo button.
Tarale, thanks for the layers tip. |

Originally posted by asdfOriginally posted by Xkeeper I guess I'd better start drawing some dead hookers to get my fetish out there, then. It might get lost with all the furry dead hookers. as for the tablet comment, I can't say, I've never used one, I don't know if it's anything like drawing with an actual pencil or pen or not, I generally make light lines first and add detail once I know what I'm doing, with pencil thats slowly shading light & dark [again, not sure if you can do that with a tablet? I'm not interested ;p] or simply the equivalent of a 1-bit image with pen. |

Originally posted by Xkeeper I wholeheartedly agree with this. Now, I don't mind the quieter furries (those who just go about their own business, perhaps openly), but I dislike those who shove their fetish in everyone else's face at every given opportunity. Oh, and this isn't the sort of question you should be asking the board as a whole. It's more of a question you have to ask an artist. |

Originally posted by Kyoufu Kawa I'm actually not good at linework on my graphics tablet either. What I find helps though is to put your original stuff on one layer and then trace over it on a new one, refining anything that needs refining in the process, but leaving the bits you like the same But yes, I do agree about the significant and insignificant features part. Some parts are detailed in a minimalist way (I like the face) but other areas are a little lost in the sketchiness. |

My Wacom doesn't seem to like that, Justice. But I'll try |

The portrayal of the image in your sketch was well-executed, especially with the quick lines. Besides the picture itself, the lines resemble your style of work: quick, wavy, segmented lines. If you want to step it up a notch, I'd suggest cleaner lines so your viewers can determine the significant and insignificant figures quickly. I believe you can produce some excellent linework over this image. Successful. |

After reading those responses, I had a sudden urge to post, and to post something that's not all anti and such.
I quite like that style. *nod nod* That side view of your face just seems so cool It'd be also nice to see a non-sketchy version of this, of course... |

Now, I can completely understand the refusal to answer the question... but |

Despite the topic, this is fairly safe.
