If all you have are linear PCM wave files, then the Java Tutorial seems simple enough. However, if you want more advanced support, you probably need to use Java libraries, which for your game contest, not sure if that is allowed... |

I just found out that I got into the second round of a game design contest, and now I have about two weeks to make a fully featured game. But I've never made any programs that play sounds in Java.
I remember looking through the API trying to figure out how to do it a long time ago without figuring it out, so I thought I'd ask... Does anyone know the simplest or fastest way to get a Java program to play sounds? |
