It still makes some sense though, if they have reason to suspect it's there. |

I'm going to mine ||bass' nose until I find green gold! Why? Because he may or may not be hiding it in there.
(I suspect he eats it) |

All I have to say is. If they dig and there turns out to be no gold, this is going to be a HUGE egg in the face for AOL. Even though this guy is a spammer and a fugitive. Huge huge PR mistake. |

AOl needs to come up with better eveidence then "he owes us money and you're his parents," before they can dig up their lawn. This will get shot down in court for sure. |

I regularly go to strangers' houses and dig for various hidden valuable metals. |

How dare you guys. This is a fantastic story. I know if I were running an internet company and somebody stole from me, I'd totally go to their parents' house and dig for gold.
Wouldn't YOU? |

If they can come up with reasonable evidence that there's gold there, I say go for it. I mean, I would assume even if they do get court approval to dig, they'll use ground penetrating radar to locate it first, it's not like they'd just tear up the whole yard. |

It'd be awesome if he just bought "platinum bundles" of viagra. Like tonnes and tonnes of viagra and pornography and stashed them in his parents yard until he was 50. Or really looking to party. |

I don't see why this is stupid... he owes them money that he doesn't have and damn well isn't likely to ever get. They suspect there's gold on his property. Since he can't pay them, they go for his gold instead. Makes sense to me.
Now if they're accusing him of hiding this gold, then that's fairly dumb... |

I wish AOL would just die already. Seeing their shitty programs make my eyes hurt.
And what the hell is AOL thinking for digging? Pretty soon AOL is going to turn into the next diggers hotline, and if its as bad as their internet service..... Prepare to die if they hit a gas line. |

It hasn't been granted yet. You can appeal to the government for whatever the hell you want, but that doesn't mean it will go through. Shouldn't there be a law stating that a company cannot just put anything they want into their policies? i.e. something bad for the customer
Because in Belgium there is. |

Aside from the fact that there's no worthwhile evidence that it'd be at their house, it actually kinda makes sense. The guy made tons of money doing something that he then lost a lawsuit over, so the company is... acquiring the assets gained from it. Nevermind that they're doing it with shovels.
