Zem is the right guy here. Get Jump Super Stars if you already have Mario Kart, though... Or just wait 11 days for Tetris and MPH to come out.

No. Get Mario Kart instead. If you already have that, uh...

dunno. But there are probably better games you don't already have.

Maybe the crew puts on armored overalls over their normal denim overalls Therefore, the "nothing" relates to "no armored overalls". Not neccessaraly no overalls at all

It's odd, now that I think about it, that you're even able to have Mario not wear pants. It's not funny or anything like that... Just odd.

It's pretty cool that this game includes the option to fight the final bosses as many times as we want.

Well, normally you save before the final boss and that's the last save in the game. =o I was kind of bummed in TTYD when I found out that saving after the final boss just meant you couldn't fight her again on that file.

What? Man, I could've fought the final boss 3 times in a row, easy, and still had plentyt of steam left. That game was SO generous with items, it's not funny.

Wait, are you talking the FINAL final boss? Wait, no, you're not. Nevermind.

And Fawful WAS in this game, thank you very much, and he was amazing.

The last boss of SS? Man, I could beat her in one turn. Not the first time through, obviously.

See, I found a lot of replay valie in that game, because I would play through without ever equipping pants, or badges, or stuff like that. It gave it more challenge. I sort of did that my second time through with Partners in Time--I've gone through most of the game to this point with no pants.

I die very very easily. And I love it. Because I still haven't died, despite the fact that enemies can knock me out in about 2 hits.

I can't get myself to beat this game. It's just got so boring so fast. I didn't feel this way with SS for some reason. I remember the last boss of SS to be long and irritating.. that's how I feel through most of this game. It's just not fun.

Well I just got to the final boss and I'm pretty disappointed. The storyline didn't have that moment-to-moment crazy unexpected disaster element that SS did. Plus, the game lacked many characters...there were a shitload of them in SS...some good ones were Popple, Rookie, Birdo, Hermie, and Fawful. Partners in Time didn't have that many characters at all, just all those annoying shroobs . Plus, it seemed pretty pointless to have the game take place in the past. They could've made Peach get kidnapped in the present because having it occur in the past didn't seem to have any purpose besides bringing in the babies.

I got to the final boss and spent a couple hours trying to beat her with no luck, and I used up all my items, and ultimately died anyway, so I gave up . I don't think the game prepared you well for the final boss because all the other bosses were piss easy.

It's odd. Yeah, it got less funny and more serious, but it was still pretty amusing, and I didn't seem to mind at any point since the game was still a lot of fun. Way better than the standard RPG which takes itself too seriously and has really bad gameplay.

Anyway, something that this game and the first M&L have in common: they're extremely funny at the beginning, then just kind of wind down as you go through.

MLSS was pretty funny through the end. Not as funny as the beginning, of course, but still pretty funny (especially Fawful).

See, that would be a problem if I could get anywhere near the damage I do with the non-continuous items, using the continuous items. (comma splice to make a bad sentence make sense)

The only downshot to non-continuous bros. items is the 999 damage cap. The only place this would matter though is for boss battles, since I don't think any regular enemies have more than 999 hp.

But the red shell with the Dynamic badge A is simply the best attack in the game

I love the Hammer Bros netspeak scene, that was the best part of the game <3

Pff, smash eggs were simple to use once you figured out a simple landmark. The items I had trouble with were the ones that kept throwing random bros at you, like the trampolines and copy flowers. My consistent performance did not shit for damage, and when I did really well the damage only barely started to approach their non-continuous equivalents (the cannon thing and the mix flowers, respectively). Of course, the mix flowers were pretty much just overpowered.

I have to say, I am a bit disappointed with this game. For one thing, I got it Friday and I am near the final boss already. I just thought I got to the last part way too quickly. It took me longer to get to the final boss in SS. I loved SS for it's really awesome plot, plus there were a whole bunch of crazy disasters and troublesome situations that sidetracked the bros, which PIT seems to be lacking. It just seems that one thing happens after another, and nothing unexpected really happens.

I did like some parts of it though, the addition of the babies was cool, and I was happy to hear Mario and Luigi's gibberish talk again . The bros items were a nice little change from the bros attacks in SS, but those Smash Eggs were a bitch to use and I never was able to make them work, so I sold them all to buy better stuff .

Anyway, this game was nonetheless entertaining but didn't match up to SS in my opinion.

Mario&Luigi Superstarsaga was pretty good and the comercial made it look pretty much the same.
