Hi, I'm Shiryu. Some of you might know me from threads like the one of Super Mario 64 editing, as well as giving some advice to other people. I've been interested in game programation since I was a child, and I have experience with it thanks to things like Game Maker and its gml (game maker language).
Also I'm a person who tries to figure everything by myself, even if I don't understand it. I'm also a bit shy so I prefer to seach a lot before asking anyone, I only ask when I fail trying to find the anwer by myself. About ROM hacking... I've not been too much compared to other people here, only 3-2 years, but I learn things easily. I'm vey experienced in RAM hacking, so I can easily find RAM adresses and edit them (of course is easy only sometimes, N64 is not the same as Snes, for example) An example of this would be the explanation about editing Mario's colors in Super Mario 64. In ROM hacking itself, I'm experienced with Tile molester, as well as level editors like Lunar Magic, SMILE, YY ME, and some more. Also I'm currently finding level data and how it works from NES Gradius, which I will be pleased to post when I find enough. I would like to be approved so I can contribute here with what I find or with suggestions or ideas, as well as showing others my work to see what they think about it and I can make it better then. Also I'll try to help anyone who needs it ^^ So that's all. Sorry if I make some grammar mistakes or something, but I'm not english so I can't have perfect grammar... Thanks for your attention. ^^ |
