asdf, you forgot one offset.

Change x80C5 and x121D4 to 00 should work fine as I tested.

Are you changing the first byte the offset takes you to? (I used to do that) You need to actually change the right byte with that offset.

What emulator are you using? Do you get a bad checksum when you load your ROM?

1. i jump to offset x80C5 and change it to 00
2. save it
3. reload my hack into LM
4. run rom in emulator
5. run a new file
6. get fire flower
7.fire dosen't go straight.

i don't know what im doing wrong

You're obviously doing something wrong. Are you saving? Seriously, are you saving the ROM in Translhextion? Because that value SHOULD be working. If that's not the case, you may be using older savestates that have a fire flower already activated. Reload the game without a savestate (from the menu), get a fire flower from a level, and see if it works.

In a hex editor, change address 080C5 to 00. That'll make it so that the fireballs have no Y-Speed, and thus, they don't move downward, thus, going straight. That should do the trick.
