Kirbynite: The hell would I know. *nod nod*
Ka'ae: ... We are assuming the creatures that have whisked away the ranch girl and cows are inside the caverns. Kirbynite: So, yeah. Anything can be in there. |

Sky: Well, then now I feel even worse about that.
The magewarrior quickly knocked on the door and yelled "Sorry!" to the inhabitant. Sky: If you insist. What's in the caves, anyway? |

Kirbynite: ... I'm beginning to wonder how much crazy stuff goes on in this area. I can't believe she was so desensitized to all the racket we were making out here....
Ka'ae: 'Tis simple. She has adapted to the absurdities in this area. The walking dead... Creatures from the stars.. Kirbynite: ... Romani! Holy cucco! We're supposed to be on a rescue mission! Come on! Forget the house, we need to go to the caves behind it! |

Sky: Isn't that exactly what I suggested doing a few minutes earlier, before we started fighting the gibdos? Jeez, take my suggestion as your own, why don't you.
With that, Sky forcefully opened the door and walked inside. He quickly shut it and looked at the party with a rather embarassed look. Sky: Erm, it seems the inhabitant was preparing for a bath...but now knows that we're here and is probably putting on a towel or something. |

Kirbynite: ..... You know something, have we tried doing what.. well.. A lot of heroes do when they're on epic quests to save the world?
Ka'ae: .. And that is? Kirbynite: Barge inside the house. Ka'ae: ... you think just like a human. Kirbynite stuck out his tounge. Kirbynite: Hey, have a little fun, Ka'ae. Ka'ae: .. Do you not remember what you were previously attempting? Kirbynite: .. No, not really. Why? |

KIrbynite sat down and remained quiet. It was hard to keep calm when he's on a rescue mission, but he remembered... remembered..
Kirbynite: Navarre Thieves? How did I... He shook his head and just continued to be quiet. ...... Several moments later. ....... ...... ........ Several minutes later.. ..... A while later..... Kirbynite: ... Um... |

Kalar: "Not quite. It's almost like creating a pocket dimension that you can stalk around in. You could call it more of a mist than a swimming pool. We're still above ground, it's just that as long as nobody knows we're here, when they actually look here they won't see us. The magic's useless if we give them any kind of indication that we're here, so we've got to be very quiet and stay still... Just wait...."
And so he did. |

A sweatdrop ran down Kirbynite's back.
Kirbynite: Well, that'd explain why I've never been able to literally hide within a shadow like some of the other ninjas in the Navarre Thieves Guild... Kirbynite let out a sigh, and reluctantly walked into the shadow. Kirbynite: Hey.. it is like a swimming pool... |

Sky: That, is actually really creepy. But quite cool.
With that, the magewarrior stepped into the shadowy area. It was a rather strange feeling, somehow, being invisible to most of the rest of the world...this degree of stealth was something he had long been unable to achieve, so he hoped he would get a chance to learn the technique later. Sky: Jump on in, guys, the shadow's fine! |

Kalar: "Positive... She's just a little shy. Come on, we've got to get out of view. Once she sees that all of the monsters are gone (monsters being US, that is...), she'll come out. Watch..."
He stared up at the mid-afternoon sun, and stepped back into the shadow that the house cast on the desolate area... And promptly disappeared. "Shadowstance!!!" He poked his head out from the shadows and beckoned for his companions to join him. "Quickly, while the spell lasts... We'll be almost totally invisible if we can all fit into these shadows. Just be quiet! We're effectively NOT here so long as nothing knows we're here." To prove his hypothesis correct, a bird landed in the shadowy area in which Kalar stood. Since the rest of the group knew he was there, they could obviously see him. But the strange part was that because the bird couldn't, it landed on the ground in the shadows... right after passing through Kalar's body. Kalar nodded, grinned, and stepped further into his refuge. |

Kirbynite looked the side. He was a bit embarassed.
Kirbynite: Erm... let's just see what happens when we knock. Kirbynite slowly walks towards the door, and gives it a gentle knock. Kirbynite: ..... He knocks again. Kirbynite: ..... Kalar, are you sure there's someone in there? |

Sky: I certainly don't mind the rush, I just questioned the need to get rid of all of them if the person might not want to leave the house anyway. So, shall I do the honors, or would you like to smash the door in?
... Sky: Well, after we knock, I mean. |

Kirbynite: Phew...
The Dreamlander felt his tensed muscles relax a bit, allowing him to move once again. Kirbynite: Thanks, Sky... but.. If these creatures keep running amuck here, then that person Kalar was talking about won't be able to leave the house. That, and I'm too impatient to take my time. It's time for me to show you a trick I just learned... Kirby took a deep breath. He sheaths his sword behind him, and holds out both of his arms. A white aura begins to swirl around both hands right before he claps his hands. Without seperating them, Kirbynite rears his hands above him, and then slams them into the ground. Kirbynite: Light's Blessing Shockwave! All of the white aura surrounding his hands quickly disappeared into the ground. A few moments later, a strong wind blew out of from where Kirbynite stood. The wind took out the walls of fire, and caused all of the Gibdos and Redeads to fall to the floor and writhe in pain as they slowly melted away. Kirbynite: Heh, hope you don't mind me not taking my time. |

Sky: You know, Kirb, we didn't really need to take them out with the new plan, just knock them out of the way. Kirb?
Sky noticed the dreamlander had stopped and saw the corpselike figures advancing on him. This wasn't good, he thought...but just heading in there would put him in the same predicament. New strategy, then, he thought, as his sword returned to its normal color and he put it away. Spreading his hands out in front of him, Sky made a motion that created a wall of flames not too far from Kirb, just in the path of the nearest Redead...who wasn't very pleased as he was quickly incinerated. It wouldn't keep up for much longer, he thought, but the wall might snap whatever hold they had on Kirb. Not taking a chance, Sky cautiously advanced via a more circuitous route to get behind the larger group of creatures. |

Kirbynite holds out both of his hands.
Kirbynite: Or I can use the holy attribute of my Light's Blessing..... HEY! Why are we wasting time in here?! Kirbynite held out his sword. A red aura trickled out of his arm and onto the sword. He took a few steps towards the circling Gibdos until his sword was eminating a red glow. Kirbynite: Here we go! The Dreamlander lunges at the Gibdos, and in one quick slash, he downed several of the mummies. Kirbynite: Piece of cake. Ka'ae: Uh.. you sure? The tiny dragon inside Kirbynite's hat peeked out to point out the wrappings on the Gibdos were burnt off. The now ReDeads were slowly getting back up. Kirbynite: Oh.. um.. Ok, I can still take them.. Just as he finished that sentence, several blood curling screams started to flood the area. Kirbynite: I.... can't.... move... |

Sky: Well, if she won't come out of the house, we can always go in. Sure, it's not exactly polite, but we're in a bit of a hurry, as I understand it, so we might as well. It'll be easier than killing all of them anyway. |

Kalar's eyes glowed red for a few seconds as he stared at Sky's sword.
Kalar: "Very impressive! It's quite shiny and firey! But of course there's always a lot less finesse in killing all of the mummies around here." He watched the Gibidos circle around in their moaning ways and nodded. "Yep. 'sides, they're already dead... Anyway, I tried that already. The person that lives in that house over there is afraid of everything outside, for the most part. The exception is, of course, the Gibidos. I sliced every single one of them to shreds a few weeks back, and figured maybe that would cause her to come out of her shell. NO DICE. Took me a goddamn day and a half to get them all, too..." |

JDavis: You'll have to set them on fire twice. The first time will just convert them into redeads. |

Sky: What is it with circling baddies around here? Anyway, if I've learned anything from bad movies, which I may or may not have, most undead things don't like fire. So all of you who can make your weaponry burn, prepare to do so. If you can't...well, I can flamesaber a few others for a bit.
With this, Sky unsheathes his sword. A magnificent broadsword, hardly the weapon of a mage, it shows that Sky's more a warrior than a magician. A buckler unfolds from around the magewarrior's left arm as he holds the now slightly glowing sword in his right hand and prepares to strike. |
