Well dunno on this board, but when I got the 9208fkgf version from Xk, you could do it (note to Xk: only noticed really recently mkay?)

Why go to the "show posts by user" page when you can just hover over the "link" link to get the post id and manually type in the editpost url?

Also, last I heard, it was possible for banned users to edit thier posts.

uncovered in the sense of, if we can't edit our posts in a closed thread, why is it possible via show posts method...

So, i tried editing my post in a closed thread. There was no edit link so I couldn't. However, when I went to edit it via the "show posts" options for one's profile, I could...

so, did I uncover something?
