Hmm...either the "Layer 3 Smash" sprite or the level number is changing colors 0D-0F (used by the small fish?) into darker browns. My money's on the former.

While we're on the subject of smasher, is it possible to change its palette? The leftmost edge uses the same palette as the word "time" and the coin graphic from the status bar, but I can't seem to find what palettes the other parts use. |

To clarify, that wooden object is used elsewhere, but the graphics for it are only used in that object, so if you plan on not using that object, go ahead and overwrite the graphics. |

No, it is also used on the forest fortress level, and it's used in the first door in Bowser's castle. |

Okay, so my question is if the layer 3 smash... err this one: 
If it's used anywere else? Since, i'm planning on not using it in my hack; I want change it to a change to a title screen. I just want to know if it's safe to edit it. |
