Actually, Its laggy as hell, has poor palletes and level designs, and your forced to use snes9x.

It works on older versions of ZSNES.

Well Its still laggy as hell and has poor palletes and level designs.

It works on my version of ZSNES... the latest WIP of it...

SNES9X is for debugging only when it comes to me.

I have to try this. From the good comments on SMW central, and how god the ending's suppose dto be, this sounds like a must-play hack.

I've had that happen, too. Just refresh the page.

I've played it, and it's pretty fun. (even if I can't get through the second level because SNES9x hates my controller)

If the status bar palettes bother you so much, just turn off layer 3. It's NOT a big deal. (And it's also the reason I've decided to make mine only 3 colors. :/)

You use ExGfx to add spinies into the underground set, but you can't do so if they're occupying the same space as Buzzy Beetle. You could easily move them so that they occupy the same graphics space as the football and the floating skulls instead, for instance.

This hack is ok, not great, but ok. Some of the graphics clash. 8(

Spiny's are in the forest enemy set.

Red Buzzy Beetle. Ugh. That's one of my personal pet peeves. There's plenty of unused space in the forest enemy set. Just remap Spiny's tiles if you're going to have them co-exist with Beetles.

I'm midway through the Wacky Woods. There are some really great ideas in this hack, but the ugly palettes, graphical glitches, and ever-present massive slowdown cut down on the fun factor. It's pretty exciting to see mikeyk's new sprites added into working levels, at least. (The Missile Bills were well utilized in the desert)

This picture's pretty decent, however the "background", if that's what you want to call it even though it's on layer 1, collides roghly with the acid. There's also another problem with this picture, but I think we can all figure out what it is.

I have downloaded his hack yesterday but it seemed that this patch is made from an unclean SMWROM. He said we have to use his SMW ROM instead.

No, you don't. You just have to play it on SNES9X or an older version of ZSNES.

Just in the slightest case that Meister Waluigi sees this post, I will tell what I think. I would have commented on his other shots, too, but the site's down right now.

Very sweet looking title screen, but the "INFINITY" looks ugly without a border.

Nice foreground, except the trees on the right side of the image. The status bar has palette problems.

Bland, and the roof graphics collide with the pipe tiles. The green rocks are ugly, too.

Pretty font, looks like writing. But, it still has those ugly trees and status bar palette issues.

A little problem with the status bar, and a big problem with blandness.

More blandness.

Even more blandness.

Yet even more blandness, with eye-searing graphics to boot. Also, the worst case of status bar palette disease I've seen yet.

This picture feels more outside with the Lion King graphics, but the trees have messed up palettes. And so does the status bar.

Not much to look at , but no problems.

I like this screenshot, lots of activity. One problem: the bricks aren't layed out correctly on the floor.

This shot looks kinda neat, but the palette in the status bar takes all the fun out of it.

I like the graphics, but not the palette of the status bar.

Status palette problems, and blandness.

Wierd FG palette, and even more eye-searing palette colors in the status bar.

Too little detail in the graphics, and *gasp* more staus bar palette ailments!

The trees look almost without detail at the tops. I never liked that ExGFX for that reason. And more status bar palette problems!

This picture's pretty decent, however the "background", if that's what you want to call it even though it's on layer 1, collides roghly with the acid. There's also another problem with this picture, but I think we can all figure out what it is.

Well, there's my two cents. The hack looks fun overall, I'll probably download it when I finish practice for the SAT later on today (it IS 3:00 am, of course).
