I've always told Shyguy any ban he got he probably deserved it. He acted like he was victimized by Colin but he brought most of it upon himself by his own reactions. That said, I was a bit disappointed at how board staff allowed him to be repeatedly flamed by members *cough*Riku and Cirvante*cough* with no repercussions (opposites threads and other such crappy threads). As I recall previous similar altercations resulted in a ban of both offending parties as a cooling off session. The incident I'm mostly thinking of was a Mosts Discussion thread a while back.
You can take a scan of the Pit of Disrepair and see who the idiots are by who responds to threads that are certainly going to be closed, but instead you choose to ban someone who just sticks out like a sore thumb and scapegoat him. Again I think he deserves his current ban, but I don't think it should be perma, it should be like a one month ban. And if he still fucks up, then a 3 month ban, etc. He reminds me a lot of troubled people i've known in real life, and I think he'll grow out of it sooner or later. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for him b/c that never helped anyone. Hell, I'd be surprised if he even wanted to be unbanned if he was viewing this thread. Colin: Orynider was disliked b/c he faked screenshots and faked knowledge of certain romhacking techniques in obviously disprovable ways. E.g. he claimed to be making a SPC music editor but posted a screenshot from an existing composer program, iirc. In general he is considered to be a fraud and a liar and just generally incompetent. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Look at this, and check his others threads and read his post content. You'll see why he was banned. It wasn't just the really crappy SMW hack. He tried coming back at this forum, but they deleted all his posts, apparantly.
I remember when Kario said, "You're STILL around?" or something to that extent to Ory. Oh, and he may not be lying about his age, because he's used different varations of pictures of the same guy always, and that guy's definitely not a teen. Sorry if that's what you got out of that post, I didn't intend for that to happen; I wasn't trying to say that people all mature at the same rate (although I am very stress free, love school, am generally healthy, live in the country and am raised by loving parents, to fit your parameters).

| I've seen the other way around: boards ruled by utter idiots who would spam nonsense and flout logic. Their common responses to my typing would be 'Lol you're faking your intelligence with big words.' But they fail to realize I am cursed with this manner of speaking. I won't go into specifics, but those who appear to have flamed against this all seem bitter for the fact that, in this forum, those people seem to have lost their power and are now being hunted down and BANNED like they should have in the first place. The internet is for reasonable, logical people. We got here first. If you want to tear up logic and post junk like Mr. Shyguy, go to... uhh... VGF. Yeah. XK put it better, but I just want you to know that the traditional niche of a message board does NOT mean that you should be allowed to stay here or that it is your 'right' to be around forever. If you're annoying to most people or disruptive to normal board operations, well, you're banned. Shyguy had a billion chances and blew them all. Perhaps he'll learn after being banned for a couple years, but think of it this way: Until recently I thought his mental age was 12 when he was really 19. I may be conjecturing, but his posts distracted and infuriated me, one who reasons through logic and these so-called fake words I use to pretend to be smart. I congratulate Colin and hurl flaming pies in the general direction of Shyguy, the Saeed of these boards, 'cept he got his comeuppance and Saeed destroyed VGF.
