Thanks for the help. You are right though. That's what I'm going to try to do from now on. I just hope it doesn't get very bad.

It's perfectly normal.

My mother takes new medication every now and then, not for tremors, but she has a thing called myasthenia gravis, which means her bones become much weaker. This can sometimes leave her very agitated.

Every time she switches medication, she can be very grumpy and angry. An example? We brought chips from the chip shop, they were cold, and she threw them at me. Then she was on the phone to the chip shop mouthing them off saying she's gonna slit their throat. It may sound funny, but at the time it was scary because she is actually a very friendly and nice person.

She will grow used to it. In the meantime, what I feel is best, is to just try and avoid her, and if she comes to you, just be as nice as you can. It's what I do.. it's the only thing you really can do.

Don't worry man. It is natural.

I'm not sure if it's the medication or what. Something I forgot to mention earlier, she has had MS for quite a while now and it's progressively gotten worse to where all she really does anymore is sit around the house doing nothing. That might be the problem there, I know I wouldn't care for life much if all I could do was sit around for nothing.

The only thing that steers me away from that being it, is it seemed to have gotten really bad within the last couple weeks.

Is she always that pessimistic?

If not, it could be a side-effect of the medication. A lot of times medications will have psychological side-effects while the user gets used to them.

Well, basically, my Mom just got on this new medicine. She started taking it maybe about a week or 2 ago. It's supposed to stop her tremors, which for those of you who don't know, is shaking.

The main problem, the thing that scares me the most is, some stuff she says. One thing she said earlier, when the Papa Johns we ordered came, she got mad because for my temps, my Dad took me driving for a little bit. The other thing was she made curtains for my sister but my sister didn't pick them up right away which just set her over the edge. My sister even said she was going to get them in a little while.

How she replied to that, she said, "I'm not eating". I don't know what it is, or why she's acting like this. It's really starting to scare me.

The other thing she said, since I was a little curious about her medicine, I asked her about it and just got the main idea of what it was. Some things she told me were some side effects with it. Just after she explained that, she said, "I'm going to stop taking it. It'll make life end quicker."

I have no idea how to help out and am just very scared now. I have no idea what to do. I'm just wanting to know if there's anything I can really do to help.
