Sports? Nawh.
I do love volleyball though. And swimming. If I were to play sports... I'd play them. I swim alot. I play volleyball when it comes up in my life. I also run alot. But it's not like a set routine. One day I'll wake up and I'll be like... "Today I'm going to run for a bit". It's great. It clears out your mind.. and you get to bring some awesome songs with you. |

When I was a kid it was anything between Soccer, Baseball and Basketball. Unfortunately, I had to deal with asthma (still do) for a large majority of the time so I was repeatedly 'down' to play anything between age 4 and 14...so I didn't really do too well.
The only thing that qualifies that I still do would be DDR/ITG and that's really helped my stamina quite a bit. I could probably take on sports again but...hey...I'm 22 in about 2 days and I don't go to college, currently. :\ |

I used to play softball, I was pretty good at it... all stars and travel teams and stuff. But I eventually had to quit because a) my team sort of fell apart and b) I had to get a job.
I also played soccer when I was really young, but I sucked at it. I love to play almost any sport though, football, hockey (I can't skate very well anymore though), etc. |

Climbing, squash, and trials biking. I'm pretty bad at trials, though, so I don't know if it's correct to say I actually ride trials. |

I used to play soccer all the time, I was quite good at it until I got into tennis, which is vastly more fun and uses parts of your body other than your legs. |

I played Basketball and Tennis for my highschool when I was there. But other than organized sports (I still played basketball in leagues) I find myself playing a lot of Ultimate, Soccer, Football, and endless hours of basketball at the gym. I just started up running again, but that's more to stay in shape and not as a sport.
Originally posted by spiroth10 I think this is really funny because all the people I know who did cross country were in places that were really competitve and the slow people ran 6:30 miles. My roommate kicks some serious ass in running, he did a half marathon at a 5:43 pace. I don't think I could ever run that fast for a single mile, let alone 13. |

I used to play alot of hockey back in middle-high school, right now I'll play football with friends every now and then, although I'm way out of shape compared to when i was in school, so it's not nearly as fun. |

I played golf for my high school, but I made it off the junior varsity squad. I doubt I'll play any sports in college at all. |

I'm a laser tag guy myself. I play at a place called Laser Quest. The style I play involves a lot of dancing and dodging as opposed to the hide and seek variety of laser tag. |

Fencing. I take perverse pleasure in stabbing people through the heart. |

Right now in college the only two sports I play most often(with friends) are Soccer and Squash.
I used to play soccer in high school though I wasn't anything special and didn't care for juggling. At Rutgers, there's a small field that my friend and I used for 1 v 1 soccer matches. It had four lamp posts and the way to score a goal would be to hit a certain post on the opposite side(both aren't considered goals, only one is) to score. In this crude drawing of the final match(held sometime this past May), I am the blue dot with the green ball. The line indicates the route as it traveled all the way to the post. |

I was a long distance runner for my track team--I did the one and two mile runs (or 1600m and 3200m). That's about the only sports I did. |

When I was younger, I played soccer because I was still trying to find my skill.
Soccer wasn't it. I found softball later on, and I was good AND loved it. I played on All-Star teams and travel teams, always got to play, and made a lot of friends. I stopped playing because I had to get a job. Boo. |

I used to play indoor soccer, and a year of football in high school.
My indoor soccer team was a blast, my friends and I made our own and joined a league. |

I used to play sports.
I was a wrestler for six years, then changed high schools and needed a different sport. I went into Vale Tudo, learning submission wrestling and boxing. I quit the season after three months. The stuff was too hardcore. I went to Shotokan afterwards, mostly trained, no sport. Later I went into full contact tournaments, and began learning Thai Boxing, and Vita Saana. I'm very grateful for that training, which was free. I won a lot of tournaments and was invited to a world martial arts tournament in my senior year of high school, but the entry fee was $200, and it was in Maryland, so I didn't attend. After high school I taught mixed martial arts in college for a year. I don't teach or train anymore though, but I'd love to get back into it, hopefully when I reach a permanent duty station (US Navy)... |
